I was at the game, I walked around playing the MSU fight song on harmonica. The only other bowl game I've been to was 2000 Orange bowl, Tom Brady's last game. Both games were triple overtime and ended on the other team missing a kick. I kind of thought that's what would happen. But, I thought when we threw the interception in overtime that it meant we lost, but we didn't.

but you seemed to have missed my point entirely. michigan's schedule was so easy that a high school coach could have gone 11-2, the only real team uofm played blew them out in east lansing, and considering that msu has the vast majority of it's defense returning next year, i can't wait :)

@mcdon0306 don't say State got lucky because the amount of luck UofM had in the Sugar Bowl was incredible, I''ll give big time credit to Michigan's D especially in the Red Zone for holding VT to 4 FG's in regulation but State's D is still better, 17 tackles for loss that's incredible, I though I would never see that 5 years ago when John L. Smith was coach, the rivalry is gonna be incredible the next few years, the Civil War in Michigan is on...Go Green and Go Blue (except when they play State)

Third time's a charm for the Spartans. Three bowl games versus the Georgia Bulldogs. The first in 1989 MSU played far too tentatively and lost. They had more talent that year. The last time with Stafford at QB Georgia was ridiculously talented. But this year the team's were extremely similar and similarly talented. Great game.
