@HighNflY These guitars are either very old "relics", or are newer models and intentionally painted that way. Do a search on "Reliced Guitars"...some of these relic models cost a ton. The finish on a guitar body subdues the natural vibration of the wood, thus negatively effecting sustain. Therefore, many pros prefer the body to be as bare and as unfinished as possible.
@HighNflY that have a nicer sounding lacquer on their guitar called nitrocellulose that wears and comes off easier but its nicer sounding and its on the higher end strats like the vintages and the road worn
Everyone check out my guitar vids and comment to let me know what you think. I'm gonna be adding more I had to make a new YouTube account because Google screwed up my other one so plz watch and comment to let me know what you think
Hey everyone check out my vids and guitar playing and tell me what you think. I only have two vids of guitar playing up so far but am in the process of putting up more
Can you actually get the artist to play their stuff slower, rather than busting out the slow-motion? I've seen some artists that maybe didn't have the skill to slow it down (Which I thought was the excuse for the slow motion to begin with), but I'm sure Kenny Wayne could handle it.
thanks for the instruction Kenny! thanks for taking the time to show us the lick! your a great inspiration for all of us who are trying to learn the different styles of "da blues". Especially yours! thanks again,man!......
wow! thats awesome does it make a difference that im learning on a squire strat because my guitar doesn't sound like that and the strings are kinda too close together

@HighNflY When a guitar is played hard every day for about 50 years, this is what happens.
