  • Hi,

Nice car and nic video, thanks! Did you sand this down to the primer base and prime it again or did you sand it to the metal, im asking because im thinking about soda blasting a jeep I have but the soda blasting is more than half the price of a good paint job! Would it be normal to apply primer in the way you did, many thanks please explain if you can, i dont know much about this subject.

  • MGF looks great! Next thing is to get ready for when the head gasket goes. Unfortunately all MGF are reknown for this fault. Mine's blown twice! Make sure your daughter keeps an eye on the coolant especially in summer. NIce job!

  • Thanks mate, I was hoping you got it here in Australia. I got a quote for shipping from the UK, the splitter its self was cheap enough but shipping was about £200.00

  • I paid nowhere near that, I thought freight was about 70-80 pound. I'll see if I can find who I bought it of and let you know, because they're worth buying and they hold the car well.

  • Great Job there, that is quite a stunning F. If you don't mind me asking where did you get the KH style Splitter, I'm looking for one for my F

  • Thanks...you can try Ebay England.and if you do, you can notice that it holds the car better on the road.

  • nice...!!! love the stripes

    P.S.

Is it a Mk2 1.6, with the 15" vvc look a like wheels?

  • thanks..it is just a standard 1.8 dressed up.and if u have an mgf sprayed this colour, you'll be amazed at the attention it gets.

  • nice job looks great.. how many liters of primer, base and clear did you use?

  • Nice vid and the car looks great. I like how you sprayed the inside of the car too. I'm gonna be getting my car resprayed soon, so I think I might do the inside too after seeing this!

I like the wheels too. They look really nice.

  • Its common knowledge racing stripes add an easy 10hp lol.Awsome job mate iam thinking of doing my own car to, its a bit dawnting. What is the differences with using an acrylic to a 2pac coat.

  • Acrylic is air dried and 2pac is oven fired.Don't forget the pod filter.Sounds gr8.
