I like Alex I do but, and not to sound like some fanboy nut I sadly know these facts, sonic can run at the speed of sound which is about 700 mph. Mercer does have all his fancy moves and tendrils and blades and such and such but he can only move so fast, like what 60 mph or so? Unless mercer gunks him up in some virus goo then he can't really ever touch sonic.

Nice video. For quick acceleration to near top speed use an air dash or two right before landing from a jump. You can go from standing to top speed very quickly that way. :)

@zZulloZz no, you just jump automaticly out of it to the ground. if you don't make it in 1 jump, he jumps twice or three times. it's a good way to losethe army or police. jump into the water, press "2" to change shape and then you jump out of the water.

And unfortunately due to how overbearingly prideful Sonic is, not to mention how slow he is to react mentally... Yeah, that'd happen.

Otherwise, if he had a bit more wits to him, he'd probably have ran away far far away. After all, Alex here doesn't seem that fast. Cars can go faster then he can in terms of racing and the speed at which he attacks is roughly standard speed, whether you'd care to admit that truth is your own choice.

Yeah, you hold the sprint button and he'll just keep going forward, jumping cars and stuff while doin flips. You can also hold the jump button to vary your jump strength when you release, he jumps the water in the park this way.
