  • Here I go- A Mexican U.S. naturalized, Taco man who likes this red neck music!

  • Yip!!!

  • T is for Texas, and also Tennessee. Only Two "T" states.

  • Any woman that can't dance to this song can just put their feet on top of mine and I'll make 'em look like they know what their doing!

...and at the end of the night (after dancing with me), they'll be wanting me to curl their toes and knock the rollers out of their hair!

  • @westinniles

Hell, I'm with ya on that one!

Pour a little BBQ sauce on 'em and work 'em like a rib!

  • If you can't move to this song, then your dead! This is a toe-tapper!

This kicks ass from the 2:45 mark through the 3:15 mark of this song!

  • Killer.

  • Waylon Jennings was the coolest, baddest, meanest, most ornery badlands outlaw mofo there ever was. Will never be another like him.

  • "Take it Moon"

  • i like the skynyrd version better

  • I like the original by Jimmie Rodgers more, but this is awesome.

  • @breakingthe4thwall original is alwaus best but i HATE YODLING many great old songs are ruined becouse it was some kinda weird fashion to yodle between the lines.... xD

  • The Outlaws Will Rise Again!! Deo vindice. Confederatly,Johnnyreb[Alabama]

  • How I miss his musc!

  • The only way to be an outlaw is to be who you are. It takes courage to get out of line. Forget where the lines are drawn, Texas / Tennessee...all people livin' their lives and being distracted with bs about us and them...it's just you and me far as I can see. I loved Waylon, still see his bro Tommy from time to time and saw Shooter not too long ago. Jessie Coulter is one of my fav songwriters & Jimmy Rogers wrote a hell of alot of songs that many artists have covered in their own way. Peace

  • Big Waylon fan. I recorded one of his songs and posted as a reply here. If you have a minute listen and rate it for me. Thanks, Sherrill R.I.P

  • True good ol' outlaw country. There ain't singers like Waylon no more.

  • As an Englishman, this is what I call a real American. Hello cousin!

  • @malx1975

I knew the English had some good taste!!

    Cheer's mate.

  • @malx1975 We need more cousins like you!

  • BADASS!!

  • DIXIE WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!! THE SOUTH CAN AND WILL RISE AGAIN! PRAISE THE ORD AND PASS THE AMMO!!! DEO VINDICE!! Confederatly -Johnnyreb [Alabama]

  • Right on Brother! Dixieland forever!

  • Waylon,

I spent my childhood summers listening to my dad cranking All of your 8 tracks through his Kenworth (cabover) sound sysyem in the 70's. I got to see you live in '79, 80, '92. I got see Shooter live on your stage in '80 when he was just a little feller.

Although I wasn't real fond of the TV show, can I still be an Outlaw too?

That was just a rhetorical question as I know that you are no longer with us.

Nonetheless, you're still the best Outlaw in the land!!!

  • Thanks moon for staying loyal to THE MAN!!

I hope JR. is blessed with the same!!

  • ?whatchu talkin bout?

  • Is this one of the greatest album beginnings or what?

  • T is for Texas the best state in the union, or is it still a country. God Bless Texas

    RIP Waylon

  • well we are a country....reflective of what the rest should be!

  • I've been to most of the states in our country, and TX is the only state that was a country before it was a state. It's not the only place that's great, but along with many other things, many fine musicians came from here. My favorites are Waylon, Buddy Holly and Stevie Ray Vaughan. May they rest in peace.

  • This song turned my little jeep cherokee into a locomotive with big smoke stacks whhowhwohoh!!!

  • THESE WORDS SAVED ME!!!!!@!!!!!!

  • just wondering, when did he record his version? Any ideas

  • just wondering, when did Waylon record this version?

  • Thanks to all of you who have given great advice on where to find replacement turntable needles.

I don't really own a turntable. My point was that if I did, I would have worn out the needle on this album, which I do consider to be one of Waylon's greatest. Of course there are so many great ones. Thanks for the post.

    Whoop Whoop!!!!!!!!!

  • miss ya, waylon :)

  • I understand the first needles were bamboo, maybe you could whittle one.

  • go to a music store or antique shop or you could go to bestbuy or somthing and buy a new record player

  • Does anyone know where I can get get a replacement needle for my turntable? I seemed to have worn it out.

    Whoop Whoop !

  • Check out KAB Electronics. They have a needle or a cartridge for practically any turntable that's ever been manufactured. They have a website.

  • Nothing comes close today.Period

  • Waylon will always be amazingly special!

  • this is from far and away the bast damn live country album of all time.

  • By far the BEST in country music. Pioneer and Ledgend. Ive got this on CD, Vinyl and my favorite, 8 Track. Still cruise with it on the highway. NO ONE can or ever will match this sound.

  • this is my favorite waylon tune of all time. lookin for any waylon live records?

  • May be my favorite Waylon song; thanks so much!

  • Real title is Blue Yodel # 1
