  • beautifull noise.

  • you sound like john goodman... lol

    bike sounds good.

  • @mikef330 you kn ow somebody else said that about a month ago. lol

  • Sounds good. I have a 2007 M50 and just drilled (8) 1/2" holes in the exhaust plate. it sounds great and runs a tab bit faster. This is a temporary fix until I get my V&H Cruzers. For the mean time, will concetrate on other LED mods. Good video amigo!

  • take out the baffle and knock a hole in the catalytic converter you will be VERY LOUD then

  • @lnkicker

you have to have that dont you? its like enviromental isent it?

  • FYI: if you want to KEEP those baffles intact, you should weld a rod to support the movement created from everyday driving... otherwise, it will eventually fall out. I'm speaking from experience!

  • Did you have to have the bike rejetted I just bought an Intruder 1500 with stock pipes and I want to do this to mine

  • Thanks for the post. The stock pipes look the best in my opinion. The de-baffle is probably the best option for a deeper louder sound. I was thinkning of trying a drill bit to create holes around the baffle while leaving some support metal for baffle stability.

  • No matter what you do with the stock pipes they just wont sound good. The best pipes to put on are the Cobra Streetrod pipes either slash downs or straights. The wake up a sleeping giant. I set car alarms off with mine on the same bike this guy has. The are truley badass pipes.

  • fuck that bike is bad

  • lol youre 4 months too late, I now own a 2008 SV1000S

  • So i just bought a brand new Boulevard with a 4 year warrenty. Do you know if this will void the warrenty in anyway?

    Thank you

  • Any modification to the sound system will void your warranty.

  • No i shouldnt. i asked the dealer if cutting out the baffles would void the warrenty and they said no.

But i am in New Zealand and i dont know if it is different overseas.

  • Ive heard the Vance & Hines pipes on an M50 and they sound bloody stupid

  • i believe i will go with hard krome pipes or possibly cobra.

  • I went for a 46 Mile (75 Kilometre) ride yesterday with my dad on my M50, he rode his bandit 1200, yesterday we went for a 30 Mile (50 Kilometre) ride, I was on my M50 and he was on his Harley Davidson.

  • I may be tone deaf but I don't hear a big difference between this and my uncut M50. Wont cutting the plate out interfere with the EFI system, and wont it also cause the inner pipe to start to sag and eventual break off inside, and it will be exposed to the elements.

  • The M50 has a little different exhaust than my C50. I couldn't hardly hear mine run until i did this the video really doesn't do it justice and as far as the baffle goes they may eventually weaken over time but this is just temporary until i get better pipes. The EFI was not effected on mine at all it still runs like a champ never misses a beat.

  • sounds awesome! I may do that to my c50t. Thanks.

  • go for it i love it and i am glad i did it no regrets here!
