The 1/8th mile race is what most of us do from redlights, so a good launch is critical. You can get embarassed by dorky cars like the Corolla S or Sentra SR if you're not watching. The 1/4 mile is a much better indicator of a car's ability, and is when you can catch back up and wave bye.My cousin has an '06 Maxima w/ I/H/E and an Apexi , and it's a beast.

@chrisreed82 Nothing with mine. It's been perfect. Has 60K on it now with zero issues. I take it out there maybe twice a year and run 7-8 times per visit so it's not heavy racing.

have you gone to the dyno? What torque/hp numbers did you got? I have an 05 v6 altima auto. With about the same mods (greddy evo2, berk intake and cattman y pipe). I decided not to buy the nwp plate because i like the low end torque my car currently has

I am planning on a dyno visit in the springtime. Man, you gotta get the block of fplate. You only lose torque from 3000-3600 or so which once you feel the pull on the top end you will forget all about. Its seriously impressive. It's like adding cams to the motor and all for like $40.00 Best mod on my car I would say.

nice run! looks like that track isnt prepped pretty good if you're gettn horrible 60fts. At the track I race at I get 1.90 60fts on my street tires, The speed you picked up looks like you can drop ur times at least by a tenth or so if u didnt get so much wheel spin.

ROFL. The neons are fast for sure. His didn't have shit but I think an intake and he was trapping 78+mph by himself on that track which is like lining up on a fresh highway. They opened the speedway in 06' I think and we are drag racing starting from the enterance to pit lane. It's just a test and tune place not even close to a full raceway. I hope they built one here though they have the room for it.

yeah dsm is right.. its the driver.. I've seen stock SRT-4 run a 9.0.. Personally I had a Cobalt SS S/c which ran a 9.43 with just an Intake

It was stock with one passenger. He ran about the same times as me later in the day like 9.40-.9.45. Driver has a lot to do with it plus the 60 ft.
