  • i still think using a jumbo zig pens works better and lasts longer too.

  • great money saving idea, for those of us with very little.

  • If you did use the permanent spray could you remove it with the stick away?

  • Doesn't work on the new mats that their selling now.

  • I redid 3 mats and they work great!! I had to let them "cure" overnight for better effect, but they work as good as or better than the new ones!!! THANKS!!!!! Now, I have a mat in my cricut and I peel the others off as I wait for the cricut to cut!! YEA!!!! :)

  • I figured out to use stencil spray on my old mats before I ever even saw this! Yay for me!

  • I used this on my mat and it's only sticky after I spray it, it's getting annoying to have to spray everyone I stick a new piece on.

  • FUN!

    Worked great!

    until I went to cut

There was a little fuzzy residue on the bak of cut paper Maybe I put too much or didnt shake the can enough??

  • well it is on backorder I waited 4 months to even get a email that is was not goign to arrive for another month.

  • Superior product. I like the adhesion far better than the original mat adhesive. It's just sticky enough without tearing the paper. And it lasts for quite awhile. Thanks for a super product!

  • I've been using this for about a month now. I must tell you, the adhesive that it produces on the mat is FAR BETTER than the original adhesive that comes on the mat when you buy it. It's not overly sticky like a new mat is and lasts for quite awhile. What a super find!! Thanks custom crops. Super Product!!!

  • Where do you get this product?

  • Just use Goo Gone and the 2 way Glue or Spray Adhesive. Goo Gone cost $1.00.

  • web link is not working was hopen to order the sprays

I have watch loads of your films and love them all

The gypsy give away is awsome

  • This is very exciting, I will share this info with all my scrapper friends. Thanks for this great tip. Also, I just learned about your videos and I'm looking forward to learning more. Thank you, Thank you!!

  • Great info! I cannot wait to try this!

  • Thanks so much for the info! I go through these so fast1

  • seriously need to try this! :) I LOVE my Zigs overall - and I get good results usually - but this quick and this even I think I need to do a new video with this!!! :)

  • I have used this process on several of my mats and have found no problems to speak of. One little tip I would like to share: I used masking tape around the green edges of the mat. That really ensures that no Stick & Spray gets onto that area. Then, I simply peel the tape off. One more thing... you really should remove all of the old adhesive and little bits of paper, fibers, dust, etc. prior to applying the Stick & Spray. The best product I found to remove the adhesive is Stick Away.

  • Thank you! That was very helpful!

  • OMG!!! 50 below Zero, not pretty to go out in!!! Especially when you're engrossed in a project!! WHat a time saver!!! ANd a money saver!!

  • wish id knew about this before i put my mat in the trash!!

  • Cool product!

  • Thank you for showing this!! This seems so much easier than using the glue pens! I always love all of your videos. Thanks so much for teaching me so many new things and that it's always okay to think outside the box. :)

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • I was told if you do that then it ends your warranty on the cricut. Do you know for sure? Thanks.

  • Thank you for the question! We understand Cricut owners' concerns regarding the warranty. We do know that Provo Craft has stated that using a spray adhesive on your Cricut mat will void the warranty. However, in our experience, we havent had any problems with our Cricut machines as a result of using the adhesive. We do recommend that you use either painters tape or scrap paper to prevent the adhesive from getting on the green areas of the mat. . .(continued below).

  • As the machine rollers feed the mat into your machine, they may pick up some adhesive from the mat. We advise that you use either the Crafters Companion Stick Away spray or another adhesive remover to clean the rollers if this does occur. Once again, though, we have tested the product with a large select group of customers and we haven't had any complaints that the adhesive caused a Cricut machine to mal-function.

    Hope that helps some,

    Natalie

  • That is absolutely amazing. Gotta get me some of that spray. How long does one repair last before having to redo it again?

  • Lori-

Thanks for your question. A couple of our designers have sprayed their mat and have been able to use it for about two weeks. Obviously, the frequency of use will affect how long it will stay sticky. Our design team also tells us that the kind of paper you are using affects the life of a mat that has been re-adhered. The thicker the cardstock, the faster your mat will become un-sticky.

Hope this answers your question and thanks for watching!

  • How is the odor with these sprays?

  • The odor isn't bad at all. The Stick and Spray smells like a typical aerosol spray or hairspray. We think the Stick-Away adhesive remover actually smells like a man's shower gel or deodorant. They both are truly great products and worth a try!

    Thanks for watching-

    Natalie
