  • Finished, it's finished, nearly finished, it must be nearly finished.

Grain upon grain, one by one, and one day, suddenly, there's a heap, a little heap, the impossible heap.

    I cant be punished anymore.

I'll go now to my kitchen, ten feet by ten feet by ten feet, and wait for him to whistle me.

  • No clock !!!! the time doesn't exist in Endgame ! it's the time of calming but no clock

  • Really cool ;)

  • L'absurde a som meilleur.Bonne mise en scène. Bon casting. Super `blocking`, Ferme direction d'acteur, Joli décor, excellente idée. Digne du grand Beckett... mais, un peu long. +, il est conseillé de se rendre a 2min 30. Bravo!!

  • Absolutely genious!

I will be performing my AS Duologue with "Captainjohntaylor" at the end of the month (I'm Hamm) and I have to say this has inspired me to keep going!

We hope to upload the video of the exam when we get it back!

We're doing the opening! (With words chopped out here and there to squeeze it into 5mins :P)

  • Absolutley clever! I loved it. As i read the play at the age of 14 I laugh at both the play and your version. Thank you so much! Haha! Amazing

  • incredible. :)

  • Endgame in Lego! Brilliant! Do the rest of the play!! But seriously, that must've taken some time?

  • it took almost exactly 24 hours for 2 people! but it was totally worth it!

  • That's great! We just read Endgame for Theatre History, and my professor mentioned this in class. My notes officially read, "Endgame... NOW IN LEGO'S!!!" Had to come check it out- very cool!!

  • So Amazing!

  • this is brilliant i love it. we read endgame in english at college and seeing it in lego has made my day!

  • Ha Ha Ha. That's primo! I thought the music was a good choice, silent film-ish goes well as this is Beckett's most comic play after all. Smashing!

  • GREAT!!!!!

  • i love the clock.

nice touch - it perfectly fits with beckett's point of life having no point, waiting for nothing, or something.

    or godot, perhaps :P

  • geniale

  • no. ragtime rules. and so does this video.

  • Need different music. Something dark and atonal. but love the use of the Legos.

  • exactamente! musica diferente

  • The music isn't too upbeat. It could be more upbeat. This is well done work. The music-not to mention the use of a popular toy brand as a medium-distances us from the darker world of Endgame. We could potentially be distanced from simply being enamoured by the "darkness" and thus appreciate everything else witin the work. Still the "darkness" is a huge part of Beckett's work(s), so we cannot easily cast it aside.

PS I would expect this from a university student.

  • ha ha ha!

  • Impressive, but unfortunally that "happy piano" song totally breaks the mood Beckett tries to creat in Endgame.

  • hmmmm..

    interesting point

but one could argue its perfect, after all

is there not "nothing funnier than unhappiness"

  • This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. Ever.

  • You ROCK!

  • hello! this is pretty cool! good job zwee and di...???? u should have done it about how cool lego is...lol.-fi

  • The music brings out the comic aspect of the character's actions...the clock is also brilliant, i love the way it goes back at the and, showing that the scene is static....very clever!

  • The music is too upbeat.
