  • Just about my fave tune and fave cut.

  • Best moment of my life? The day I discovered the Dead. I have been happy since then.

  • @CODYEFFINMYERS And so has Larry Craig when he was listening to the Grateful Dead trying to legislate anti-gay laws in Idaho; but Grateful Dead fans got disgruntled since many of them are gay and that they often put this and other songs by them at FULL BLAST as they slime fuck each others' buttholes to the orgies they have. That is why Larry Craig got lured into an entrapment sting in an airport bathroom so they could embarrass him for disgruntling deadheads.

  • @gaybathroomsex i wouldn't want to be like you.

  • Some of the best Dead artwork, EVER... Discovering the skull in the clouds was a moment I will never forget....

  • EVER HEAR THE MARTIAN HIGHWAY VERSION?

  • it's something of a stressful time in my life, and I can't help grinning. oh right, life can be great.

  • I remember last FL dead show Tampa.......clouds over area looked like giant rib cage.......& after trip , ' met up with someone I knew, who saw THAT too

youtube search "IBEW drummer" & "early morning inspired".....................................HI

  • No song should be this lyrical and beautiful... and upbeat. It's a peek behind the curtain.

  • * * * * *

  • @gaybathroomsex Far Out Man!

  • @gaybathroomsex Why don't you try that with negro rap fans. They are more into that than anyone.

  • Gorgeous song-one of my favorite album covers...

  • nothing wrong with being transsexual either!

  • @demerollzroyce We will fight Larry Craig's anti-gay legislation if we lure him into another airport bathroom since the last scandal made my dick hard.

  • Psychedelic. And that's how I like It..

  • WAKUPPEEPS.JESUS

  • IIIIIIIIIIISFOREVER. LOVE

  • who was Nirvanaaaaaaaaaaaa GRATEFUL DEAD WAS THE GREATEST BAND EVER

  • Ahhh! Makes me feel sunshine:)

  • Saintfu, both can make big changes, LSD is safe enough IF you remember , no matter what you see thats NOT the entire story ..

    Have fun.

  • this is about as close to gods word

    as you can have now

  • @531mad Yes.

  • this is about as close to gods word

  • I found this album about the same time I found pot. I gave up pot a year later. But now, in my late forties, I get the same pleasure out of this album as I ever did. Bonus that I don't have cotton mouth and I am not choking down Ding Dongs, Ho Hos, and Doritos. Peace out.

  • @SaintFu well you must suck for having all unhealthy munchies and nothing to drink

  • @SaintFu did pot make it any better ? tempted to try pot/lsd

  • @AliIKarimi theres a large difference between pot and lsd man but in my opinion pot makes music much better id try weed b 4 dropping lsd tho

  • @aliendogtwistaogkush oh i understand theres a difference, ive just been thinking bout trying psychadelics lately. whats music like on weed ? Details !

  • @AliIKarimi Music on weed is calming. playing music on weed is sex. and having sex while playing music on weed is the greatest thing in the world.

  • @SaintFu dont lie i bet you still choke down plenty of ding dongs you homosexual

  • @polistyrenejassband nothing wrong with being gay

  • グレイトフル・デッドの傑作、室町幽玄世界の具現化ロック、ジェリー・ガルシア親分の枯れた声とピッキング・ハーモニー弦、よかった"アイズ・オブ・ザ・ワールド"

  • i love the eyes of the world,it reminds me we are all part of a huge cosmic love galalxy where god sees all,and we are all in him. bella rattan

  • The dead es la muerte, llámese como se llame, siempre te tocará...aunque te escondas, así que mientras viene por cada uno de nosotros, disfrútenla...

  • interesting image of saturn on the album cover

  • @psyclops9 what makes you think its saturn? im just wondering because i never put alot of thought into the album cover.

  • i was somewher and something was hapening

  • wow this is the tits, and not just your average b-cup one glancer, but a solid double d cant take your eyes off pair of tits (if not a rare tri tit showing)

  • Nobody plays music like this anymore . Listen to the bass during the outro how it just freeflows into any direction it wants while staying in perfect harmony.

Only the swedish band Dungen comes close to this nowdays.

  • I always get a warm glow, when I hear this musical masterpiece. It sounds like God is having a quiet word with me.

  • Grateful Dead were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994

  • My favorite Dead song live of all time. Deadhead, 30 years, Deadhead forever. Love it, still the best after all this time.

  • Fuckin' "Eyes"!

    Love this song.

  • GREATFUL DEAD~最もお気に入り~アイ・オブ・ザ・ワールド~デッド聴いて、ガトー聴いて、ローラニーロ聴いて忙しかった当時

  • Sooo jazzy, Thank you Jerry.

  • sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own...

  • sometimes we live no particular way but our own...

  • does anyone know how I can get a ringtone for this song?

  • GREATFUL DEAD"Eyes Of The World"~地味地味、新しき夜明け~でもこれがデッドじゃBEST~ガルシアミュートピッキングの離れ業

  • @Andrew223a The Grateful Dead is one of the most eye-opening bands in history. I don't think I've ever been the same since I listened to them. Our world would be much more peaceful if everybody listened to this music and felt the positive vibes that the Grateful Dead exude.

  • Wow one idiot disliked this. How stupid can people be?

  • @NevadaPehala1 since your post another jackass disliked this. Never mind them they are just turds

  • You wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world...

  • does the Dead was stoned in that periode of 73-74 ?

  • I wished the whole world listened to this music.

  • @Andrew223a me too bro would be a much better place

  • @Andrew223a Same here, my parents always tell me to turn off that garbage when i put the dead on... wish that wouldn't happen.

  • Great song.

By the way, can someone upload the studio version of The Wheel please? That'd be really great. The Wheel is like my oldest memory ever, my father played me a tape of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band when I was very young and this is like the first thing I remember in my life :)

  • @steelwizard Will do!

  • Comment removed

  • @steelwizard dude its right over there----->

  • @BerkLeeDrm

Yeah, it was uploaded because I requested it ;)

  • This is as good as anything they did,the best of the latter day stuff.

  • They played this SO beautifully at Radio City last week. The whole place literally blissed out. And these were New Yorkers. It was otherworldy.

  • I'm starting to really like this band. What a song.

  • My favorite Dead song.

  • One of their best...

  • This is the only gd song i hav heard where phil takes a bass solo, I LOVE IT!!!

  • @ChinaCatSnflwer Certain versions of Alligator and Dark Star feature Phil solo's.

  • man, love the live version of this

  • I remember this when they played the Capitol Theater, Passaic, NJ (now, a Pizza Hut and R & S Strauss auto parts/service store) from 1978. Little tiny joint, but inside we smoked Big Joints, Heh, Heh, Heh, Hey, How many Grateful Dead fans does it take to change a lightbulb? NONE, you let the bulb burn out, then you follow it around for 40 years. Look at the colors at that pigeon, FAR OUT MAN !!!

  • @peejay1954 Cool..I saw them at the Capitol Theater too,,also saw a great CDB and Outlaws show there..Allman Brothers too...and many doobies on hand too..PEACE

  • @cocoalump Hey Dude, Thanks for the Comment. As long as there is elecrtricity, the Dead will be alive

  • I actually saw Bob and Phil play this in concert. Good times.

  • so damn underplayed

  • This song reminds me of my x gf. She was a total bitch and now i always think about her when I hear this song. She ruined this song!

  • Why do we lose all the greats.I don't need to mention so many young musicians who really revolutionized music and then perished at young age.I guess I'm trying to saying that I miss Jerry, his guitar playing and the tone of it as well as his amazing voice.

But that is why I LOVE YOU TUBE.Click of a button and you can have it to remember him by...Enes

  • definitely my favorite dead tune

  • Nothing like it, thanks so much--tonight is my night on You Tube, my husband gets to listen to my Dead tunes, next time I will be the recipient of Lynyrd Skynyrd or Stevie Ray---love love love to hear the music and memories we Dead Heads share we each other <3 brings me back!!

  • a great cosmic sound

  • This song picks you up for for a ride

  • i was a huge fan of Jerrys album with the wheel before I knew who the dead were, yeah go figure. I still remember the day I 'heard' the dead. It was this song, upstairs in a way cool friend of a friend's barn full of couches and comfy chairs. A whole bunch of us sat there transfixed listening to this album. When Eyes was over I asked who the band was and one of the guys walked over and handed me that album cover ..off I went to learn bout that love that will not fade away :-)). Thanks 4 this.

  • No better cure for a new years hangover

  • This is definitely among the top third or so of the 50+ tracks on my All-Time-Favorite-Top-Ten Dead Songs List.

I think this might be the only copy of the album version on here.

Thank you very much for sharing it.

  • Howdy! Me and my uncle were just groovin to da stuff....keep on every chance you get!

  • PHIL!

  • YAWWWN!

  • still wow. have not heard this since I played all my dead albums when music died. "there comes a redeemer and he slowly too fades away"

  • Thanks for uploading this! The sound is awesome (Phil's bass is amazing...).

I swear, this stuff sounds as good as it did when I was in college in the 70s. I hope some day to have grandkids and turn them onto the Dead (maybe when their parents aren't looking...).

  • there is a live version with janis joplin that is incredible and unfortunately not on youtube anywere

  • Just bought this album in a shabby little Vinylstore in a backalley downtown, and I must say.. Best money spent ever.

  • Ah Jerry, you were the eyes of our co-heart and over-soul -- you are forever let go into our heart -- this tune affirms your everlasting love -- how gracious, beloved your presence within us

  • possibly my all time favorite Dead song!

  • @whiteliongate they're all my favorite haha
