I like budaj but hes too technical I think he lacks real skill he just has to work real hard to be decent. From what I've been reading it sounds like this guys has real skill and I'm really excited to see him play for us
Peter Budaj is talented, athletic, and technically sound. His biggest problem is that he has no mental game whatsoever. Without that, all he can ever hope to be is a backup, but hopefully Anderson will show that that's all they need him for anyway.
As for Raycroft, I haven't seen such a promising goalie fall so far so fast since Jim Carey.
Yeah, I agree with you. As a hardcore Avs fan, I usually don't talk shit about the players, but Budaj is too much. I'd much rather have Raycroft as a back-up. But I hope we get rid of them both. And I think we can get Biron for a good price now, since almost all the teams got their goalies now. I hope we sign him.
Budaj's done good so far. Better than previous seasons. I have a feeling if the Avs keep them around, they'll have a good 1, 2 line up
