How the hell can you make a cult movie that rocks like it was trendy? Only Tarantino (and very few others) can do that. This guy is one category itself. I whould kill to play in one of his movies. Stuntman Mike was very cool (like Curt Russel is always) although he was very ediot and CHICKENSHIT.

Tarantino did once say that "If I wasn't an artist, I would have been a conman." I think that he has achieved that dream -- his con is now pretending to be an artist.

Tarantino seems to be sucking up to a torture-porn feminist/multicultural generation he doesn't really understand, just to stay "relevant."

The murder of Stuntman Mike was nauseating and evil, and the film is also totally amateurish from a technical standpoint ( people standing around, talking on lawns. )

Kurt Russel totaly Kicked ass in Death proof...Although there was alot of pointless 'Tarantino Dialogue' that did nothing to drive the story, although

the Dialoge by Kurt was awesome regardless.

Also, I thaught the first part was alot better than the second....Anyways, watching this red carpet stuff makes me want to puke, with their phony smiles for the cameras and this and that, as if they're so important..

By far his worst movie ever, the style was ok although he tries too hard to recreat the Grindhouse thing. The film falls apart at the seams halfway through, with bad over contrived headwobbling acting by ex model actresses over acting. Tarantino has not really pulled up anything original since Pulp Fiction. Each film is a remake of crap 60's & 70's movies.

i agree completely. QT was fresh and innovative at one time but he punked out. Instead of pushing to make great movies, he took the safe road with homage and spoofs where even if he gets it wrong, he is critic proof. I truly wonder if he only had 2 great movies in him. Plus he is aging like freaking Dorian Gray. In 2 years he will be all chin and forehead.

yeahhhhhh! Quentin t'es le meilleur! J'ai eu la chance de le voir a cannes et il est super cool! Grand film! C'est dommage que les américains n'aient pas apprécié le film GRINDHOUSE car c'est une bombe ce film! De toute facon, un film qui dure +3H cest impossible pour eux sans pop corn et coca!!!!!!
