this was helpful. because our teacher in 5th grade had us hold it on the other side inside the bell. but now the next level director is seriously pissed off because we play like that naturally now

I just picked up the french horn today, thanks for the tip! Being a trumpet player originally, I never knew you could bend the pitch like that on french horn!
