@CoDFactionVids It is possible to survive being stuck with a semtex without dropping the shield. If you have a blast shield and the thrower is NOT using danger close, as long as it hits the shield and not the character, you will survive. I've run into people in public matches with a riot shield, let them stick me, use the blast shield and watch them run like hell when I don't die, good times! :D great vids btw, subscribed!

I read on like the COD wiki that to survive the predator missile with a riot shield you gotta go prone with your secondary out and the predator has to hit the riot shield perfectly and you will still take massive damage, i never tested it but thats what it said

the only reason the semtex killed you is because he had danger close. If he wouldnt have had that, the blast shield would have taken it.

You can survive a Predator if you pull out your secondary, and lay prone with the shield on your back. The Predator will have to hit the shield directly, and if it does, you will not die. I can't remember if you need blast shield for this.

You can survive a predator if you crouch and block the missile explosion like you did with grenades. Doesn't work everytime, but you can survive once in a while.

I lied down on wasteland with my shield in my back, harrier kept shooting the center of the shield, the ricochets killed about 5 enemies and 3 allies, I play on hardcore.

if youre stuck with semtex put blast shield on and switch to secondary weapon so riot goes on youre back and normaly you survive i did it once and it worked :p

Semtex is my fav. I've killed tons of shield dudes with semtex. It's funny because a lot of these guys who come at you with a shield think they're superman or something. Stick 'em with a semtex and that's it. It's funny how the shield will stand up to an air strike yet a little sticky grenade will blow the crap out of them. Semtex rocks! lol

I was playing domination yesterday and every1 of the enemy's team noobtubed and I got pissed and stuff and I tried this.. I was standing infront of a wall, 2 guys infront of me. The 1 guy shoots at my riot shield and the other 1 shoots a grenade launcher towards the wall and I die :|

You can survive a semtex that is stuck to your shield if you have blast shield. I've done it but you have to melee just before it explodes.

I did try the 25mm cannon I think from the AC130, and it can survive about two or three rounds from that, and they seem to count for loads of explosions towards the shield challenge, but a 105 and 60mm cannons, it really can't.

@charkoly We tested 'em both. Chopper gunner, you can survive direct hits, but the rounds aren't accurate, they'll hit the ground around you and kill you. As for javelins, it's pretty tough to get a direct hit, but I can't remember the results.

then the shot hit one of his limbs. the rounds will not penetrate directly through the shield. We plugged over 200 barret 50 cal fmj rounds into various spots of the shield - nothing. You can't break or get past the shield with a bullet.

and btw, it probably just looked like it hit the shield, but i bet when the guy saw the killcam, it would show the round hitting his profile, maybe his shoulder if he was standing angled, or his feet if that's what you aimed for, etc

Was this Core or HC, cause all our testing was done on Core. Were you shooting fast with the riot shield close in front? (not scoped in) Cause that would mean that between hip-fire inaccuracy and the barrel not having time to drop and be consistent with the crosshair, where your crosshair was and where the bullet went would be two completely different things. I mean, if you try shooting fast with the barret, shotty style, you'll see what I mean.

I'm doubtful after 200+ shots that it's possible.

@CoDFactionVids I have idea, I prestiged a day ago and don't have 1 man army. I was wondering if u had stopping power and get a 3 kill streak change to a class wit hardline using 1ma u get 1 more kill (to get a 4 killstreak) so wud u get predator missile or wud u have to

get 2 more kills (to get a 5 killstreak) :)
