I was never going to see this movie when it came out because I'm biased about ANY movie that's a modernized CGI/live-action remake of classic cartoons. When I was younger I used to think the ones in the 90's for The Flintstones and Casper were okay, but can't people come up with any original ideas anymore?

Jjust saw a review of this game on TV,was good, & it brought me bak to when i 1st saw the movie at cinema in all its HD glory (its STILL the only HD thing Ive seen) then I just had to get the game the next day, Played it 4a week & loved it, then got my money back off it & went to watch the film again. was a great experience, but Y have you pulled appart all the bad parts of it? Sounds like a lot of the sound effects were taken directly from a 90's car game called Rollcage. But I gotta say, this game looks absolutely pointless....just like the movie. 1) Bad dialogue

2) Long and boring

3) Flashy effects that attempt to make up for a mediocre film.

I'm fine if a movie-based game has NOTHING to do with the movie as long as it's good.

I understand what you mean by remaking or rebooting a franchise in order to gain a new audience, but once again, Hollywood keeps remaking movies that everyone knows and loves.

The Taking of Pelham 123 - I can see why they remade that. The original's not well known.

The Last House on the Left - I can see why they remade that. The original is universally hated.

The Birds - Why are they remaking The Birds? Everyone loves the original.

Transformers, I think, needed a revamp because it lost its popularity over the years.

Disturbia is a rip-off, but it's an AWESOME rip-off.

In the very, very first Friday the 13th movie, Jason Vorhees is not the killer. He's in the movie, he just isn't the killer. In the rest of the movies, yes, he is the killer. But he doesn't wear his trademark hockey mask until the third movie, I think.

btw, I hated Dragonball: Evolution. That's a perfect example of rebooting a licensed property for the sole purpose of making money. Do you wonder why you don't recognize most of the actors? It's because the studio is cheap and won't hire a good actor just to save money. Ironically, DB: E stars Emmy Rossum, who also starred in... wait for it... the remake of The Poseidon Adventure.

That's another possibility, yes. But the studio in question, 20th Century Fox, has made some really terrible decisions this year.

First, they made Wolverine have multiple endings because piracy threatened the movie's box office. (All of those endings sucked).

Second, they removed all the bonus features from their rental DVDs to encourage more people to buy them. (I fail to see how that will come even close to succeeding.)

i got the game for 20 bucks, and its a great deal. at first i thought there werent enough tracks until i realised that each track has 3 lengths that you can race forwards and back. i think the gameplay is just as repepetive as any other racing game, but the combat system always makes it feel fresh because of the diverse moves list. the layers to this game are vast, i just wish it wasnt a wii game targeted at the youngins. an HD 360 version over xbox live with 16 racers would be face melting

1) The movie was way too long because of the amount of drama and depth

2) The dialogue started to suffer because of it. As soon as Racer X said, "It doesn't matter if racing ever changes. What matters is if racing changes you," I just said to cut out the prophetic bulls*** and get back to the story.

It's still an okay movie, though.
