There are spots of wonderfully delectable characterization in these performances. To bad more pianists haven't learned how to do that kind of thing. Or maybe it is just that they are just afraid of the "true to the score" fascists that frown on a performer actually having a real idea about how the music should go. Thanks for the upload.

Sofronitsky plays with an individuality that is always compelling in its imagination and boldness. He plays the second Sarcasm with an introspection not heard in any other version, and the others are nearly as good.
