I've a career in aviation which I'm studying a degree in lined up. I don't do drugs either, don't see the point. If you do that's your choice, I definetly wouldn't advise it, at least for Islam but for your own health.
Can't say I am that religious myself, perhaps one day when I can approach with a crystal clear mind (that doesn't have current affairs, science and aviation going through it) I'll consider.

I haven't exactly had a life where my family owns motors like these, infact where I live it's was sub-standard in terms of wealth (not far from Bradford).
I put a reasonable level of effort in at school, then in year 10 thought "shit, my lifes ahead of me". Went into 6th form and did alright, but honestly, I've learned if you push yourself to education and hard work, you will benefit.
Trust me, knuckle down with your studies, go to uni if you can, get a sorted job and live out having a laugh.
