Dude those are the worst bearings ever abec 3's suck. All longboarding wheels (sector 9 and such) have some little weights in the that keep the wheels going.. I could put rusted bearings in there and it would spin as long as rush bombers.

Most of it actually depends on how you take care of them, if your friend with reds takes great care of them, and makes sure to re-lube them when needed, his bearings wll go faster and last longer than yours if you do no maintenance... But f you dont mind payng 120 for bearings, go for it, they're great bearings still.
