  • I'm almost sure this song inspired the Monkey Island videogame series' soundtrack

  • This song...especially the ending...it's a religious experience....

  • Strange !

  • Stupid people who need ot get high to enjoy the Beatles. -________-

  • @lotud8 Let me explain something to you.

Psychedelic music, was inspired by psychedelic substances like LSD, Magic Shrooms, Peyote, and marijuana. Now, The Beatles used LSD for fun and inspiration. This song, being a psychedelic song, was created to enjoy while being high. That's why it has all of those weird and trippy effects, because these type of songs truly comes alive when you're high. get stoned and listen tot his song it is indescribable the experiences it conjures up.

  • Am I high or something?

  • sounds like a circus song, its amazing, scary, and a music jewel

I LOVE IT! It's so weird! Weird is not scary! It's amusing!

If they said something like "Mr. Kite smiled, as the red went down" or something that could be taking as murderous it would be scary xD

  • @Cosplaylover14 can't sleep, clown will eat me ;)

  • This song reminds me of a crazy amusement park ride that's a cross between Disneyland's Pirates Of The Carribean and a psychedelic circus.

  • This song is on God's iPod.

  • The best from the album. A day in the life is great but this song is so unique

  • That's me in the upper right.

  • The amount of likes at the time of writing this is 1967. same year as when this was released. :D

  • first rap song ever?

  • @albuorkka

You have to listen to "The revolution will not be televised" by Gil Scott-Heron....that's a real primitive rap

  • @albuorkka no, I don't think this would be considered a rap song, but maybe a few of areosmith songs can be considered that? Idk :/

  • 27 people are justin bieber fans lulz , I like pizza

  • @YeJiub actually the Monkees were a band made for a TV show and didn't influence the Beatles because the Monkees were made based on the Beatles. I still like their music though.

  • the across the universe edition is so fucked with blue dildo people other than that its good

  • Es perfecta

  • im only 13 and this was our music exam yesterday. it brought great benifit.

  • @Madx2326 benefit

  • @12dabombman you can tell what grade i got on my english exam :s

  • ok

  • i dont understand how ANY Beatles video has only 562,928 views.

  • Groovy

  • But ... who might have been Henry, the Horse ?

  • It's nice to see that people still understand true music.

  • My all time favourite beatles song! Anyone who can't appreciate it is a narrow minded cunt, disliking it is fine but not to appreciate such a marvel is a sin

  • @MrMoviemaster26 Beatles spread love, not hate.

  • o yeah thumbs up if you're smokin weed right now :)

  • this is one amazing song but it scares the shit out of me

  • Ótimo. Uma das melhores músicas dos Beatles, como todas são as melhores.

  • Is anyone eles creeped out that the guy who has posted this awsome song is called fuck town?

  • @8blademaster yes

  • @8blademaster No, in fact I get the impression that there might be some good times to be had at his place.

  • The Beatles are so epic!

  • The Beatles really paint a carnival atmosphere with this song. Plus its trippy, melting sound makes it interesting to listen to.

As of 11/7/11, 26 people were not giving the benefit to Mr. Kite.

  • @curtpollmann1 lol i'm gonna get high to this one time, will love it :-)

  • the longest 2 minutes ever.... TIME WELL SPENT <3

  • Man they were SO trippin when they wrote this. But I don't give a shit, its still better than this mainstream crap!

  • Space Mountain + Mr. Kite playing on my walkman + four hits of acid = the best ride of my life!!!!!

  • Gotta love that hand on top of Paul's head

  • Love this song so much!!!

  • 1:00 Let the greatest and trippiest instrumental of all time BEGIN!!!

  • @voltsfabian haha i needed that button i love that shit so much :)

  • @voltsfabian we acctually had a rather difficult test question on that instrumental :L

  • I'm sure there's a different version of this song where the final instrumental is terrifying.

  • The BBC wouldn't let them perform this song because they believed Henry the horse was a reference to heroine. I wonder if this was ever confirmed or denied?

  • @B0omer96 John Lennon ALWAYS denied everything and an interview on Youtube he denied it. He just saw the handbill advertising the old circus. It was just the nature of John Lennon, probably some were direct references to drugs and some were not.

  • 26 people dont have a kite

  • I love your youtube name.

  • So, when i was, I dunno, 7 or something, I thought this was the best Halloween music ever. And I still do. I'm 45 and play this for my kids and they get all giggly-scared.

  • @mikopitou100 Exactly! There's nothing wrong with being a "kid" at forty-five. If more people did that, this world wouldn't be so greedy and uptight.

  • nearly all these lyrics were taken from a 19th century circus poster

  • Look where It says Lonely Hearts

    OK Now Write It Down

Get a mirror And Reflect It From the middle Of The Letters

    It Says LONEXI HE DIE

Its Scary Theres All Sorts Of Stuff Like That

  • What is the instrument in the solo @1:15?

  • @elotrain its actually a guitar. you can do amazing things with guitars

  • @brisketboy97 ah you were right!

after you replied I searched for the guitar solo and couldn't find any covers, so I was skeptical of what it was. I thought for sure it was a clavichord (For No One) but I found it was a guitar with a volume pedal that was recorded at half speed

  • I'm fucked up. My friends all like this Nicki Minaj shit... I like the Beatles. It makes me feel wonderful.

  • @xzday there the fucked up ones

  • @xzday Nice!

  • @xzday The hells that?

  • @xzday Just like me aha ... we're cool ;)

  • @xzday eeeh WTF is Nicki Minaj????

  • @xzday who's Nicki Minaj??

  • @GracieinYoFacieTV

Some lady who raps about sex and other things.

  • @xzday Whos that?

  • @xzday it does, doesnt it? I'm the same way. lol

  • @xzday dude same here!!!!!!!!and u know wut els gets on my nerves when my friends ask me whos ur fav ba the beatles and threr like ...who?

  • @xzday Nicki Minaj is 70% plastic isn't she. I saw on some new station (my mom was watching it) that she got a boob job, a nose job, and fake buttocks. The music today is so backwards upside-down loopy I avoid it. The worst genre is rap. I was raised off rap because my brothers listened to it. Now I hate the stuff. It's all just a bunch of non-sense complaining, even Tupac or who-ever the hell where just whining for the sake of whining. He just played the race card (I'm black too) as an excuse.

  • @GouledXD Some rap groups are truly good: Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Public Enemy. Gangsta' rap sucks, yeah, but rap has many sub genres.

  • @GouledXD i completely agree with like everything you just said but tupac wasn't like all the other rappers. he actually talked about important things in his songs. his songs had a message unlike the music today.

  • @xzday Hipster. @_@

  • @xzday How old are your friends? I don't know anyone over the age of 8 who doesn't like The Beatles...why do people insist that The Beatles are some sort of underground, obscure, indie band? They're the most popular band in history, bro.

  • I Shot The Sheriff is a better song

  • Like this if you ever have listened to this track on acid without getting scared of the instrumental

  • @414vincent I'm stone cold sober and I'm tripping out to the instrumental now!

  • I see those videos with Beatles music and I get sad because I'll never e able to see them live at all... D: But... RIP Lennon on your Birthday and be happy with your new wife Paul...

  • great song for a circus :D but i hate clowns o_o

  • ahah, the first time I heard this music was a few days ago. I've been a Beatles fan for quite some time, but this song is different than any other of their songs

  • @fpereira77 How is it possible to be a Beatle fan for 'quite some time' and then all of a sudden discover a track from pepper?

Don't get me wrong, I applaud your ability to pace yourself. When I discovered them ('69), I snapped up everything they had within 2 weeks. But when you've heard your last Beatles song - it's a bittersweet day.

  • @myrtlebox hey give me a break, maybe quite some time wasn't the right expression, but I'm 18 years old when they were the bi and these guys have a very large variety of albums and songs. I have my fair share of Beatle's songs which I love, but I don't have know every album and song they put out in their days to be a Beatle's fan. I'm getting there though, if you look at my profile I just added all their full albums to my favorites, so that' why I'm discovering some songs I didn't know

  • @myrtlebox I wasn't around in the 60's, when beatle's were the biggest thing on earth lol These days we are bombarded with bad music, so you should applaud anyone who is selective as I am lol

  • @fpereira77 Yeah, I stopped listening to the FM & MTV/VH1 a long, long time ago. I don't know if Beatles are even played on radio very much anymore. You found the best group, that's all that matters.

I would encourage you (or anyone) to get The Beatles Anthology DVD's. It is a well done documentation of the fabs. I think you can find them on YouTube periodically.

  • boats fly up and down when i listen to the beatles the beatles the beatles its like a carousel :)
