@hadleyjack I had the same concern, but there are several positions of holding the knife in my hand, where the lock is not in the way. The lock seems to fit between the fingers. Kinda hard to explain, but if you ever get a chance to handle the knife, then you'll see what I'm trying to say. It's not a fighting knife, and I certainly wouldn't trust that lock for that purpose. It is a great utility knife, and I carry it daily.
thats nice that the swiss style knife has a locking main blade. that the main reason i dont care much for swiss knives. might have to look at some now. thanks for the info
a little in-to this - i'm realizing that 'swiss army knife' is a brand rather than a (1)one type of utility. a question coming to-mind would be ... abt how many type's,might there be? ... can they vary in size? ps ,you might carry a brick or another hard surface to support sharp edge's. hi ,Major.
@JohnAllanification I only know of two makers of "Swiss Army Knives": Victorinox and Wenger. Each company offers a wide variety of sizes and models. I like moels from both companies.
@irishfan84n You need to look around, sometimes you have to drive a bit, but the US still has wonderful places to enjoy everywhere. Thanks for watching.
Does the blade lock button ever feel like it will release unintentionally while gripping the knife for a cutting task?
I'm on the fence about getting one of these only because it looks like the locking mechanism could be accidentally released.
Thanks for posting the review.

UK team winning, that goes without saying ;)
Though that's not much of a consolation prize when I see all the amazing gear you can get your hands on in the good ol' USA. Can't wait to emigrate!
