  • Does the blade lock button ever feel like it will release unintentionally while gripping the knife for a cutting task?

I'm on the fence about getting one of these only because it looks like the locking mechanism could be accidentally released.

    Thanks for posting the review.

  • @hadleyjack I had the same concern, but there are several positions of holding the knife in my hand, where the lock is not in the way. The lock seems to fit between the fingers. Kinda hard to explain, but if you ever get a chance to handle the knife, then you'll see what I'm trying to say. It's not a fighting knife, and I certainly wouldn't trust that lock for that purpose. It is a great utility knife, and I carry it daily.

  • Can't u just use the saw to cut the straight part on the tent peg first then use blade fir angle cut?

  • @2kargarage1 You sure could

  • a little in-to this - i'm realizing that 'swiss army knife' is a brand rather than a (1)one type of utility. a question coming to-mind would be ... abt how many type's,might there be? ... can they vary in size? ps ,you might carry a brick or another hard surface to support sharp edge's. hi ,Major.

  • @JohnAllanification I only know of two makers of "Swiss Army Knives": Victorinox and Wenger. Each company offers a wide variety of sizes and models. I like moels from both companies.

  • UK team winning, that goes without saying ;)

Though that's not much of a consolation prize when I see all the amazing gear you can get your hands on in the good ol' USA. Can't wait to emigrate!

  • @phb2409 Don't get too cocky, they have only won twice! LOL

We are fortunate in the U.S. to have beautiful natural resources to enjoy, and vast selection of gear to use. Thanks
