i have the same guitar and i use beefy 11 gauge strings. i usually play in drop C and i tune it once a week and even after that long i just barely notice that it needs it.great guitar

Well I usually tune my guitar every day right before I play to whatever tuning im going to use so yeah just tune before you play :P
