This video is bullshit because the Seals, LRRPs or MACV would never allow a stupid loud camera man in bush with them to give a away their position or movements. These guys just about blended in with the earth and worked together in silence from months of being together. Again, they wouldn't allow some guy with camera to come on a mission.
i could kill one of these SEAL operatives ..If i would bump into one of them at night in a forest i would get so scared that i would shit my pants so fast ,it would kill him instantly
@frankdrebin Nawh, the Stoner was a prototype scrapped by Uncle Sam for because it needed high maintenance to operate well, which was good for Spec Ops teams who were to get in, do what they needed to do, and get out alive to go back to base and clean their weapons. Sucked for infantry who lived in muddy shitholes who'd get their weapons jammed enough as it is. Also, the SAW is an FN weapon from Belgium.
Heartfelt thanks and undying gratitude. Thank you, SEALs.
For what you did then, and what you do now. Especially popping UBL two brand new assholes, not to mention shooting his wife in the leg for her poor standards just for added humiliation.
@cellardoor19999 He's standing farthest left at 6:19. His best buddies were the guy with the headband behind him and the guy standing 2nd right with the grenade vest. He doesn't remember this photo being taken. As the Sgt, he had to wear the "orders pouch" on his vest. He thinks that's a PBR (River Patrol Boat) in the background.
@karendfl Its not a PBR its a helicopter at 6:14 you can the blades of it above the guy with the bullets crossed and the grenadier's right(looking at the pic) shoulder its the same pic as 6:19 you can see its the same pic with the grenadier in full view matches the pic at 6:14.
Watched this with my husband and he saw a photo of himself and his buddies (many of whom are now deceased). He's so excited to have a video record of his time in country. He can tell me stories but as they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Hey, I wasn't talking about that at all. I was referencing a obscure show. I thought somebody might catch it... The fact that you would use a ad hominem like that though, offends me. I have respect our armed forces fully, and i do understand the circumstances at the time.
Also, I'm not 17. I'm 14. and that little thing was written when i was 11. I don't blame you for not knowing, since i did place that as my age.
I tell ya right now, this vid is not Nam, but the green beret training facility in Georgia,, Its were a lotta recruits were sent on simtraining, before gettin shipped overseas.Imagine being in Saigon and seeing all these slopes riding bicycles and scooters and you're wondering,, what the fuck am I doin here when these fucks wont fight for their country? The majority of em wanted communism then,, Ill bet they are regretting it now, they had their chance.

to me personally i think that the seals is one of many effective units used in vietnam. They really struck fear in the hearts of the vc.i think they must be a dedicated bunch of guys who know what to do in a shitty situation.my respect to seals out there!!!!!
The problem with the Vietnam war is that most of the soldiers, and many Marines were fighting for something they didn't believe. The reason because they were drafted. However the Seals didn't have that mentality, they were there to do the job. Professionally, and without many casualties. They knew how to play the game, and they played it better than their enemy. If everyone would have played like the seals, the war would have been a success. But we know not everyone can be a Seal ;)
@Widow33maker You should research more before posting. Some Marines got drafted in WWII, and Vietnam. However we all know that the military is voluntary since 1973. BUDDY
@Widow33maker oh yes you can BUDDY you can get drafted into any branch when you get drafted they put you in that force and you do basic training for that force (and ait)
@juanmisimo Apparently, it's a myth that the majority of US forces were drafted. Only about 1/3 were drafted and the rest were volunteers. So I am told
you need to be tough enough to rip off your own gdamn fingernails with a pair of pliers but smart enough not to inflict such a ridiculous injury upon yourself.
Um going in there with that kind of attitude doesnt work... out of 300 people each day that try out... only about 5 make it out of boot camp after 8 months. It takes more than your word to become a Navy SEAL..... It takes your life dedication to become one of the best in the military branch. You must have the uncommon desire to succeded at ALL times.
For every SEAL that lost his life in Vietnam, 150-200 enemy got killed.

No they were not defeated. They were victorious time and time again.
The will of the American people was corrupted from within by communist hippy losers.
