It's able to produce about 300 Watt. It depends on the wind. But it’s enough to charge normal car batteries and so you can consume a lot of energy in a short period. And it’s surely enough to start your computer for 2 hours a day, or to charge a mobile, or to have light for reading the newspapers and to have a look at your pretty wife.
We used an old alternator from a Simca 1000. We assume a useable power of min. 200W in winds about 15-20mph. Our idea has two goals. At first it is a drawing sample in a new AutoCAD 2011 training-video. These videos will be seen millions of times all over the world. This chance is us our second goal. We found that it’s very easy to build and the materials can be found on auto graveyards all over the world. We hope that lots of people will use this construction and build their own Gwindoline.

WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE
Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com
ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they're sealed underground.
SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since the turbines are slow-moving.
DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.
MAY BE LOWER-COST since it can use parts of junked trucks and others.
ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the blades automatically close.
HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

How much power did you get out of it? Was there a generator on the real thing?

What's that kind of bearing called?

We used normal pillow block bearings, which are ready for installation.
