@RunningWildVidya Actually, Kyo also loses his flames in KOF Zillion, a story that happens between before and after KOF 2000 and serves a a prequel to KOF 2000. In that story, Kyo lost his flames due to NESTS manipulation by cloning him several times.

@Playadura well its more balaced than BB. and considering the sprites of blazblue not being hand drawn.Blazblue will never be more beautiful than XII or XIII because blazblues sprites will soon be trumped by something else.At least KOF uprgraded theyre sprites like never seen before. plus (this is just my opinion) BB is cheap to use 3d backgrounds because unlike KOF XII-XIII,they(i guess)can't draw thier own backgrounds.

Its all a matter of opinion, some people might think that the hand drawn sprites look crappy. And the background being 3D is a nice touch, it fits BlazBlue. However we must remeber that these are their own games. King of Fighters has decided to go hand drawn everything, Street Fighter went 2.5D, and BlazBlue went half way with 3D backgrounds and 2D sprites. I like how each of the games look and it gives them their distinct style.

Dude, both Capcom and SNK are both using the Taito Type X2 arcade board, same with BlazBlue. I personally do not prefer any company to another, however I stick to SSFIV cuz I have put the most time into it (and its readily available in the US).

yap hes still awesome and i saw his yaotome and neomax in kof13. and yes his new moves are more comboable. its just from kof12, he looks kinda innocent. and without his flame no matter how powerful his new moves are, i cant just see him as perfect rival of Kyo. idk its may be just me.

btw i prefer his HSDM from 2002 and SDM that introduced in from 96. this version's neomax could've been sort of combination of those two or like SvC's one, instead of just a slash in the dark.

without his flame, he's still very powerful, it's just his skill which has changed, nothing more. it's not like he lost his power, other way around he looks more ferocious than before.But i agree with u concerning rivaling with Kyo power, he's a shadow of his former self without his flame power but he can still kick ass. He want to get his flame back to confront Kyo with all his might.

His NEOMAX is actually the same moves he did to kill Mature and Vice in his own kof 96 ending.
