@SwordsDragonsAndCoke it was a question 2 ur question,, i was just poking fun at u 4 teh not knowing biut this,, BUT there realy is 5 stallions,, if u tyupe in " Ween- The stallion prts. 1-5 " ull get a treat.,, great viod,, and it was done by a dude i know has a band,,.,.thye do a cover type in this "Sons Of Boognish - Shamemaker ( ween cover ) " ull love it,, ty 4 not thinking im a jerk,,, i was just messing w u l;pp;p;ppp
I like the original Argus way more, This one is way too upbeat.. Although ween is ween and this song is amazing, Not a Argus Song though, Sorry. (the original Argus song on Quebec is one of my favs)
@Linkous12 Ya no joke! There is enough Ween treasures here on you tube to make 3 more vol. of shinola. some of my favorites are Eye to the sky, Kim smoltz, argus 2, enabler, Puerto Rican power, and love will conquer all. I know that so long jerry and beacon light are already released but they should toss those on there too.
1. cold blows the wind 1. the argus 1. the blarney stone 1. happy colored marbles 1. the golden eel 1. baby bitch 1. she wanted to leave 1. pork roll egg and cheese 1. the mollusk . . . . . . . .
I consider myself a true Ween fan, but I think that LaCucaracha is not that good. Only half the songs are good. They should have added the songs off the friends ep and taken off songs like, Learning to Love and Woman and Man, and also, Shamemaker and The Fruit Man. These songs are just really boring. A lot of the songs posted here are MUCH better than them....
@dylanfan1969 learning to love is one of my favorites that pops into my head from time to time. i think the message is important but its conveyed in this silly wholesome way... =P
@dylanfan1969 I guess that's the great thing about Ween...every song they do is completely different than the last. You don't like one, try the next one. Something for everyone. For example, I think Woman and Man is the best song on LaCucaracha.
yeah i know what you mean. i think favorite songs change depending on what they mean to you during any given period of time, and how life's going. my updated list:
My first ween song uncoded! (Argus 1 is self-explanitory as is the Mollusk, LMLYP, Happy Colored Marbles and others) I'm gonna try to crack Ocean Man which I think is about a Peter Pan-like fantasy in which a child admires the Ocean Man for his many unique abilities and wants to live with him in Neverland aka the Ocean
update: most of the lyrics I was unsure about are likely correct
sends=sent
there is a "you're" in front of free
The main point is that the Argus is trying to get Johnny to realize that he is never trapped by his immediate surroundings and can escape them anytime he wants by simply "keeping it real" as in "freak out about something real" such as your employment and not "something unreal/trivial" like a bad relationship with someone(s) that is currently troubling you
Unlike the Stallion, the Argus does not feel the need to boast. The actions of Argus are mentioned by other people whereas the Stallion mostly brags about his own power. And it should be noted that men are required to "control the Stallion". The Argus is simply a good character. Not that the Stallion isn't (haven't figured that out yet) but the Argus would never need supervision because the Argus always does the right thing.
a little bitty snack for Argus and a snack for the creature in his hand reeling through his fingers and into the soul of man (?) by the sound of craving he turns into a energy form focused on the goal of pure soul and leaving everyone in the dust (call on mom?) call on Argus call on your inner pride leave them alone (postulate?) their own framework freak out on the side of (real, man?) Johnny had a bad hair color day
so he (???????) dragged him along and sang him the song flailing his arms in the air Johnny (sends?) his mind to Argus gingerly he agrees what's inside the mold of time free to plant any seed (call on mom?) call on Argus call on your inner pride leave them alone (postulate?) their own framework freak out on the side of (real, man?)
The real question is, "Who is destr100, and why does s/he have all these awesome outtake songs?"

It's so he (verb) so I don't think it's autistic.
I have some of it...
so he (verb- ends in S) his (????) (in hand?)
I think the idea is he is communicating something to the Argus by way of this actions. Or it is a way of venting about his "bad hair color day"
*The lyrics could be intentionally muffled to keep up the family-friendly nature of the Argus story of helping anyone in need.
You're right though it sounds like autism and Ween would use that kind of creative plot twist

update: I think the first blank might be "dizzy"
***The song is definitely about The Argus giving advice...
The lyrics are Johhny "SENT" his mind to Argus
gingerly he (the Argus agrees)
the specific advice of the Argus is...
#1 "you're" free to plant any seed.
#2 leave them (the people that are troubling your mind) alone to come up with their own futurewithout you
#3 freak out on the side of real, man
Ween uses the ,man or ,mang a lot

The first Argus somewhat follows the Greek myth of the sacrificial Argus character.
I think this song follows up on the kind nature of the Argus (when the Argus was still alive and was willing to help all creatures and people)
Both songs paint the Argus as a God-like creature that believes in the good of humanity.
The "leave them alone part" is the Argus' advice to Johnny.
I love this song. Can anyone help me fill in the missing lyrics?
