@Ashphodelic I feel ya, lets take the stones back man, im only 22 so never got the chance to go to the actual free festivals, been to the solstice 3 times, the winter ones quite an eye opener on mushy brew! Fuck national trust, fuck the police, if loads of peeps helped out with equipment and found bands like Hawkwind and Ozrics they probs couldnt stop us unless they want another battle of the beanfield!
Drempt of finding a copy of this in an old photo lab last night (eh?) . Had to play it soon as I got up. Saw hawkwind thirteen times as a kid mainly on the Space Ritual tour. met Bob Calvert at a gig in Battersea (I think), he played The Right Stuff for me. Ended up that night in a squat in the Libyan embasy.I'd taken a black micro dot at the begining of the evening. Fuck know how I remember any of my youth!
