ya notice on the German one that they don't say "One Survivor" at the end. It's the German mentality. All the shots are of team building. The fact that they don't get individual screen shots is further proof. There's no one individual. We come together. By the way - Australian one, like everything else on Australian TV is amateur, weak and half-arsed. They say at the end "one winner". How bland does that sound and out of keeping with the idea of the show.

The biggest mistake ITV made was to cut numbers to 12. 6 per tribe just does not make things interesting enough, anyone unpopular at the start had no chance - and when they merged, all voting was done on tribal lines. It made it very boring and very predictable. ITV basically shot the show in the foot, and never gave it a proper chance. It speaks volumes of the network as a whole, run now as then, by morons.

"Awakenings" composed by Russ Landau. Russ scores the American version of Survivor. The song was originally used as the opening theme for the UK version of Survivor. It's also used by several other international versions of Survivor. It's available via iTunes.
