The baserunning controls are really fucked up. It's impossible to get runs across the plate w/out hitting home runs. For instance, if you have a runner on 2nd, and the batter hits a gapper to right-center, the runner will wait until the ball drops before running, almost guaranteeing that he gets thrown out at home on what should be at least a double. The hitter, on the other hand, will stop at first, then get thrown out trying to advance to 2nd after the runner is thrown out at home.

Just downloaded the Demo for this game and played it and was VERY impressed. Graphics arent fantastic but they are very good still. But I found the gameplay very fun. I already preordered it and I am looking forward to playing.

Well I thought 2K9 was pretty good, not too great though, not as good as 2K8. The problem with 2K9 is that kush games and Visual Concepts merged halfway through development. They even said it took two to three months out of the development process. I'd say they did pretty good considering that. Visual Concepts has been dominating NBA games for a long time, and if that is any indication of what MLB 2K10 will look like, I'd say this game is going to be awesome.

See I don't think The Show is all that great. I mean, with all the hype about graphics, the players proportions don't look that good and they look kind of boxy to me. Granted they look good, but its flawed from the beginning. I mean, maybe 10 will be different. Also, 2K10 will be made under one development team, Visual Concepts, for the entirety of development this year, unlike last year, when they lost three months of development time. I'm pretty excited for this game.

The Sprits Game doesn't even have a "create-a-payer" mode which is a must for any baseball games, even though gamers in Japan have asked for it. Konami has a monopoly, so they don't care about the Japanese gamers. Konami doesn't listen to the Japanese gamers.

I don't consider the Power Pro series are baseball games, because they are not "humans."

From what i see the sound is a little weak, facial expressions aren't strong and the jerseys are totally wrong. The #'s are HUGE!
