Maybe as you advance in your skill?... you could remind the viewers that you do recognize the importance of what really happened (so they would not be astonished) at the "real" thing and your respect for the 18-20 year old men who were actually there so many years ago are not forgotten. As a prologue!!!. When i heard your comment "dang!!!" at the opening... it reminds me of how I felt when my feet were on the ground when a tank that weighed as much as my house drove close. Bastonge was never occupied by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge, it was surrounded and besieged. Your interpretation of the 101st is also funny, you protray them as if they were like special forces sneaking into the German lines. It should be the German Brandenburger Commandos that are doing the covert, black ops as you would say, operations.

well, mixed feelings about this one. Excellent movie overall, most people do not put this sort of effort into history projects. Sound effects, military garb, etc. However, it was severly brought down by weapons obviously being toys (orange gun barrel tips don't help) tennis shoes, and my personal favorite-Being full of anachronisms ([fake?] kevlar helmets, coldwar camoflage and web gear. Next time do more research agout gear and for gods sake at least wear work boots instead of sneakers!

Typical US army doctrine. Turn for HQ for orders when the soldiers themselves know the situation best.

Germany got rid of that in WW2 making the Wermacht a frontline commanded force.

However this is just a child's movie but it gives a good account for cumbersome NATO central command tactics which Germany proved obsolete 60 years ago in WW2.
