  • cut em!!! cant wait til next year

  • @ncoffer Us too!

  • damn....you guys shootem long and high. i wouldn't have a chance with my .410. Love working geese in close and shooting them with my small bore shotguns. Looks like you guys got a pile of them. congrats

  • @bm4nu The camera makes it look that way, usually they're pretty close but these are giant Canada'a and with a .410 or any sissy gun they would have to be really close!

  • @KettlebottomCrew.410=sissy gun? the geese we shoot run between 11-14 lbs. I hunt just on weekends with my partner one of our buddies and 4 kids ages 6-12. this year we killed 259 geese. My 6 yr old killed several birds with his 410 some on the ground but, would bet over a dozen back pedaling into the deeks in the air. My 8 yr old shot his first triple with a 20 ga. but, we don't shoot anything that isn't finishing into the deeks. When them birds are breasted up is is hard to miss em.

  • @bm4nu yes, a sissy gun. it's like taking a 6 weight fly rod out to catch sailfish. it is rather snotty or of you to put such restrictions on your hunting tools. or simply a lie. you must have alot of private land or corn to feed to the geese since I know nobody with success like you have especially with a 2 bird limit in most states and hunting on weekends. at this point I will just say you are f.o.s. also why do you let your kid shoot birds on the ground? even if he is 6 that's silly.

  • @KettlebottomCrew sorry I'm not trying to upset you. I do hunt a private cornfield that I own out of a pit blind made from a shipping container and yes we have good secess. We have a 3 bird limit.

  • @KettlebottomCrew also I like the challeng of shooting the 410. not much different than shooting a dove since you have to shoot them in the head only they are much slower.

  • @KettlebottomCrew He doesn't let them land when ppl say finish they mean back pedal in the decoys. and no it's not a sissy gun it's like deer hunting with a rifle is too easy so you start bow hunting same concept. there was no need for your negative comment on that guy he was just stating what he does and congradulated you guys on killin alot of birds.

  • @tjcvf2 my mistake should have kept reading disregaurd my ignorant message please.

  • @KettlebottomCrew again I'm I apologize if I come across snotty. Not my intention. and I don't think there is anything wrong with letting a kid swat a goose out of the deeks. you shoot turkey sitn

  • THIS MAKES ME SICK!!!!!

Poor pups gots his work cut out for him!!!!

    Nice job guys!! Fold em!

  • lol 4:14 slowmow laugh. lol

  • 3:04 and 4:27 :D Good dog!! Great video, guys. I bet that was some really good tasty meat. Music is cool too.

  • goose hunting is not easy. Im impressed with the video. Hunting with friends is what its all about. people still commenting after 2 years. impressive.

  • it sucks that u only get a two goose limit...where i live it is 3...not much more but more hunting is more hunting

  • @timfish666 military equipment? seriously lol come on now! And dumbest animal one can think of? Yeah, maybe when they are in a wal-mart parking lot eating french fries. But i would like to see anybody that has never waterfowled to try and lock up and get a group of geese to commit into a decoy spread.

  • @timfish666 We are shooting basic 12 gauge shotguns loaded with steel BB shot, available at any neighborhood gun store here in the US. They are not even close to military specs.

We shoot Geese for a couple reasons; the local population is out of control and they are tasty animals.

We could post dozens of videos of our fish tanks as well but we are too busy hunting with friends and, besides, we don't want to bore our subscribers.

    Thanks for watching!!

  • Sorry but, What is the song in the background ?

  • @katherinexsilva It's a song done by a local artist, Jesse Hedberg, here in Jamestown, RI.

  • @KettlebottomCrew Oh thanks ^^ I like it, but i'm Chilean ):

  • you lot are more like cowboys shooting them on the ground you did not give them a chance

  • @sammyleigh365 The ones on the ground are fake: they are decoys to bring the Geese into range.

  • @KettlebottomCrew nice! im going tommarow morning.

  • how many geese did you get?

  • @rootube1000 We got our limits of 2 per person, which is regulated by State biologists and the Department of Environmental Management. With 5 guys hunting (plus myself, the camera guy, hunting once the filming was done) we got a total of 12 that day. That provided us each with quite a bit of meat...

  • i think most of the geese you shoot are to close and you take quite a few shots trying to take them down

  • @master86927 It ain't easy! They are big, tough birds so you need good shot placement to take them down.

  • There is no skill involved shooting stuff with a shotgun you couldnt miss a barn door with it unless you were a lemming.

  • @welshfluteplayer It is not easy to hit a moving target with a shotgun-- and if you think it is, you are sadly mistaken. I could take up something much easier, like playing flute for instance, but enjoy the outdoors too much...

  • Woohar!

    #

    Legends!

  • hi...how did you teach the dog to retrieve?

  • @landsource we train the dogs daily and they have the instinct/ genetics. Would you like to see a training video?

  • @KettlebottomCrew thanks for your reply. i would be very glad to see the video coz i have a labrador and hopefully i could use that video for my dog to retrieve birds etc..

  • Great may i say...and we know about geese here in Scotlands orkney isles..well done to the grew

  • SICK

  • Over populated my ass, not wear iam. A good video but no wonder you have to use BBs look at the height your shooting them. Not very sporting like shooting the geese on the ground that gives them a huge cahnce. A good video though.

  • Its not really a sport with any skill involved though is it.

  • @welshfluteplayer its really hard when you first start but once you work out all the details it becomes alot easier, the biggest difference for me was a layout blind

  • @welshfluteplayer actually there is alot of skill, hard work and dedication. Including landowner relations, training the dogs, learning how to call, learning where the birds are, what the decoys should look like, what to wear and stay warm, etc. Nevermind learning all the ins and outs of the laws and using a gun safely.

  • This is by far the Best.....example of skybusting flocks with semi auto benelli's.

  • @1425monkey the camera tends to make it look like they are further than they actually are. This video is not a skybusting video at all.

  • @KettlebottomCrew I saw a couple that looked like 60+ shots

  • @Bbkflys No. 40-50 yds at most. Camera angle.

  • I'm taking off for white tail hunting and i bought the goose permits as well. Gonna be a fun weekend!

  • @DragonoftheEastblu Hope you had good luck!

  • Not against hunting but thats overkill.

  • @welshfluteplayer That's wat I used to think but with the major increase in Goose populations, the daily limit is 10-15 birds PER HUNTER. Which means if your hunting party is 5 you can shoot 50-75 birds (depending on your zone/state/province).

  • Love the layout! you guys rock!

  • fuuckk yaa sick video,,real mens men

  • nice video

  • Band

  • best goose hunting video on YT NOT

  • @countryboy1357 everyone has their opinion. Show us what is???

  • @KettlebottomCrew where do you want me to start, I personally dont have video and if I did I certainly wouldn`t put best on youtube on it,,,,,,, let see there are bant hunters videos on here,,,, there are fallin skies on here........snowy goose hunt made by a couple of kids and they didn`t have a full minute of loading guns on there,,, sorry dude I don`t normally even comment but BEST EVER kinda beggs it

  • When I recorded a hunt last season we only took shots of 50 yards or less. On the video it looked a lot further. That's why even if it looks like sky busting I don't criticize because it might not have been. But everyone has an opinion.

  • Guys, if you came here to hunt, and the rule will be to eat what you hunt you are sure to starved to death. That is not aiming getting a 4 pound goose at 30 meters on the third shoot is luck . Here we call a good shot when I hit the pidgeon at 60 m dead on flight.

  • You guys are my heroes. I hate those damned birds! I used to live at an apartment building where they would stay and honk and honk and honk ALL NIGHT LONG, then strut around the parking lot like they owned the place. Thank you for doing humanity a favor and gunning these pests down.

  • what shells are you using?

  • @barnett682 BB.

  • @barnett682 BB.

  • Yea u boys sky bust a lot

  • @ElmoAndFishhy no, not really.

  • Nice goose action. I got into some seaducks last year off Sakonnet. Thanks for posting. Who knew RI had such good action? Way cool guys.

  • only thing wrong i c is the breast shots. you must be ruining the meat on them when they buckle hard and fall to the ground like that

  • when u have 10 gauge and 12 gauge, 70 yard shots with t-shot, bb, or double bb are perfectly ethical shots.

  • @hostoboy1

    Says the skybuster

  • you using 3 1/2?

  • 5 people never got their geese that year!!

  • there aint nothin better than spendin time in the outdoors with your buddies and dogs, doin what you love. if you dont like huntin, thats too bad. lots of people do. go do somethin else.

  • I hope when ETs come they see you and regard you all sick hunters as a cheap source of high calorie diet and kill you indiscriminately making mince meat or whatever out of you for their ET third class meat eating pets.

  • @HusbandnWifeDuo Maybe the "hunter gatherer gene hasn`t been bred outta some of us but whats the real difference of humanely shooting wild game for whatever reasons or people who kill live trees to build a house or other living flora to eat. Are you certain plants don`t feel or have a consciousnous ? I don`t like these guys attitude, they show no respect for the animals they pursue. I`ve cried after killing game but I still do it and I`ve done much in 59 yrs. to help all living things..

  • @HusbandnWifeDuo Your ethics, morals, value of life are confusing. You condemn people that hunt and wish upon them a horrible death. Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. So you think you`re better, more evolved or compassionate towards "life" than these cretins in the video ? Me thinks thou protests too much. I think you should take a honest look at yourselves, if your capable of honest self appraisal.

  • @coltkitt No, they are not confusing. My family and I would never condone slaughter. We have never protested on hunting in moderation, which is good. Most of the conservation efforts in the USA have been funded by hunters. But this video shows slaughter much in the footsteps of the way the buffalo and the Passenger Pigeons were slaughtered back in the middle ages. Hunting couple of game birds with a help of sporting dogs is what I prescribe for the cure of these mentally sick hunters.

  • @coltkitt Furthermore, I also recommend that these hunters read Jim Corbett's account of man eating tigers of India. They should read his book 'Man-eaters of Kumaon' to learn how real hunting is done.

  • great video! cant wait for more!

  • Now this is fun hunting right here! Lots of action and lots of shooting. And touche if you don't like it then don't watch it. Great hunting, great shooting, great video!

  • i wanna marry the shot at 3:33

  • It's legal to have sex with crippled fat women, but hey fellas, most of us don't want to see a video of it. Don't mistake legal for entertaining. You boys pulled off some nice shots. Why not edit out pulling yourselves off?

    skeetlars

  • @skittification If you don't like it don't watch. This is America, you have a choice. But based on your comment history I don't think we want you to watch. Please revert into your creepy little world. But thanks for your comments.

  • @KettlebottomCrew This is skybusting and not ethical hunting. Sure there was some nice long shots but they are way too long. 40 yards should be the outer limit not 70 yard shots. Good hunters take ethical shots.

  • great video

  • @madtrapper91 Thank you Bro!

  • I dont know why that guy was hating on your video. Lots of Birds down, good shooting, and good calling. Awesome video.

  • @xx0311xx Thank you!! We appreciate it!

  • there are a few sky blasts but nothing wrong with that! especially with the black powder shells hell yah!! haha

  • you are hunting in a park?

  • @johannrecht67 golf course

  • 5:02 skybusting win? lmfao

  • hunting is fun :)

  • You guys suck

  • i hear alot of shooting and but dint see alot of geese falling out of the sky and learn to call my 6 year old cousin sounds better on a gosse call than you guys. dont you know anything about range sure it look impressive killing them far out but only one or two out of a flock you could have easily finished the whole flock off if you let them come in 20 more yards. over all unimpressive

  • @fawnbleat3006 "unimpressive?" You mean like your spelling. It is amazing how much of an expert you are with no videos of your own and a kindergarten education. Learn to call? We have giant Canada's around here and that is what they wound like- doesn't it appear to work? And the camera isnt on the end of the guns it is at times 50 yards away... Obviously I really dislike internet bullies with no brains.

  • @KettlebottomCrew lol internet bullies thats funny =D

  • @KettlebottomCrew I thought this was an awesome series of hunts. You guys knocked down at least 4-6 per group not 1-2 and your calling wasn't bad at all!

  • @michiganoutdoorsmen Thanks Buddy!

  • Where in rhode island is this? I plan om doing this september 1st when the season opens here again.

  • @nate42931 We hunt in many places around the State. Much of this footage was on private land where we asked permission to hunt. Ask around where you see Geese a lot and where you have a safe field to hunt. Good luck this season!!

  • thats some good shooting!!!!!

  • I cannot believe u guys go out and kill some of God's magestic creatures.....Just kidding that looks like a shitload of fun. Must be nice all the geese we have down here in Alabama live in the 18th green. We actually have a golf couse that you can go to twice a season and draw to hunt a green with three other people. . Worst season I have seen in Bama in a while. refuge close to home two years ago this time had 40K...last week less than 3K. AND I love the rewind @ 3:40..right in the face sweet

  • Thanks! We do have way too much fun. And we harvest wild game for the kitchen to boot! Hope things improve for you down there. Any place you see a lot of birds and have ample space, try asking permission to hunt. You'll get turned down now and again but it won't hurt to try. Good luck.

  • Yeah I ask the Conservation Officer a.k.a "The Man" if I could hunt North Saute Refuge, and he said yes "for around a $2500.00 fine." You know it's funny you say that, the Preacher I hunt with has been "pond-jumping" on some his congregations property, and has killed around 30 geese. Thats how bad the ducks have been

  • Hunting a wildlife refuge won't happen but, if you find private property, you may score. Ask around where you see a lot of land-- farms, private ponds, etc-- and see what happens...

  • what are you guys useing for your loads?

  • Some of us use the over priced hevi- shot but I prefer the black cloud combined with a truloc modified choke (actually chokes steel to full).

  • Great video. its about time we elimitated a few, they are such a pest and do such damage to the property. Hope you enjoyed eating them and feeding the kids.
