Xexex was INSANE when I first laid my eyes on the coin-op in 1992. There was no shooter like it at the time. 6 years later I ended up owning the Japan imported Jamma PCB. I play it every now and then - keepin' it fresh :) Gradius V is another beauty on the Playstation 2. Konami means serious business in the shooting genre. Loved your review - I laughed at your descriptions like the Chuck E Cheese ball pit stage. I miss going to Chucky E Cheese in the 80s XD !!!!!!!

I own every Gradius game made by Konami. Even though i love the Gradius games, none of them compare to the awesomeness of Xexex (Orius in the US). Even now, this game looks so awesome. The music kicks @ss!!
