Some people write some nast shit cause its the internet. None of you have the balls to say it to his face. Could b a war vet? Or bad accident? How do you know. Props to him
on a serious note, to all the guys saying "wine wine, he shouldn't have to put up with shit, wah.", here: /watch?v=OIBS6LeXnT4 . this is how disabilities should be dealt with.
Ok, first of all the dude's name is Kitten. Mroww. Fair enough. BUT THEN HE HAS ONE LEG. Fucking PIRATE KITTEN! I call dibs on him when we're getting assigned playing partners. The guy is the Chuck-ass Norris of disc golf and I want him on MY team!
this is realy cool to watch, maybe its something for the paralympics to add to the games (i bet many people with prosthetic limbs would like to give this a try)
You know, I wear a below knee prosthetic on my right leg. No one on my course has ever had anything to say about. I'm a casual weekend player, I hold 3 course records and I've only played 6 courses. Kind of sad all of you who have two legs who like to point and laugh can't keep up with the "handicapped". Keep trying, see you on the course!
@1337DiscGolf good for you, these people need to learn that just because you have a prosthetic doesnt mean that you cant be great at somthing. keep it up.
Love this video. Like the way he repeats the steps so maybe even I can get it. I hate to say it, but his artificial leg helps me follow the leg movements. I have been trying some more complicated throws (i.e. 360 turn around, backwards) and forgot about the fundamentals. I got to get the X step down perfect before I think about anything else.
@tawras, Can retards throw 400 ft drives? I think not. I'm trying to drive 500 ft, but videos like this are NOT helping. I need someone who has two good legs to get me that extra 100 ft.
So now your insulting retards by implying my family is retarded? I knew you had a dark side, Tawras. It seems that I have a problem with cripples and you have a problem with retards. Welcome home.
Alot of videos about dg are usually people boasting of thier previous experiences and how much "better" they are than the average joe. I really appreciate ya'll keeping it simple and helping me fine tune my game. Best videos on the web! Thanks!
i mean this technique makes perfect sense..it's like a regualr golf swing, it's not just about the arms or the shoulders..there is exponentially more power available if you can use your whole body like this guy is saying,
After watching this video and practicing the "X-Step", I encountered same-day improvement. I'd just like to say thanks for the video. With some practice I'll be trumping all my friends.
i just started up playing disc golf and i was wondering what distance drivers are the best for starting out..... i went and bought an innova groove just cuz it looked sweet but on one of the web sites it said it wasnt verry beginner friendly should i take it back before i bust it up? what do you think?
@Mcdaddypball my first driver was an archangel by innova. other discs that are good for beginners are an eagle, dragon, leopard, and i started using a valkyrie early on.
i took quite a bit out of this video.i usually throw forehand and have recently started trying to improve my backhand.oh yea.disc golf is not the sport to be discriminative in.i would throw with that guy if he had no legs and i had to push him around the course . i played in a tournament yesterday where some of the best players were deaf. c mon guys disc golfing is about having fun not being a jerk off to people who may be slightly different! thanks for posting this video man!
It's actually excellent advice for beginners. Quit getting your thrills from his handicap, he isn't letting it keep him from enjoying some of life's finer things.
I wouldn't totally agree with that. It's not good to add so much to a drive, a beginner should just leave it simple so they may work on less problems with their form and slowly add to it. I started two or so months ago and have quickly increased my skill but still leave my backhand at one or two steps.
Who honestly makes fun of this guy because of his leg? As far as I can see, he looks like hes being quite productive and doesnt let this weigh him down. Props to him.
@emericaskate8325 And furthermore I would challenge all people in the fact that almost everyone has some type of physical deformity..If you don't yet you almost surely will someday.
If you're just starting out, you owe it to yourself to check out Dan Beato's vid on driving technique. It will turn your crappy noob drives into awesome goodness.
I was thinking that too, but this guy has an artificial leg, and the cop in Reno 911 is always wearing those really short shorts. So I doubt it is him. haha
that guy is wearing one of the best made and most exspensive pros. legs you can get. Look at the way it moves JUST LIKE A REAL LEG. I give it up to anyone who suffers a serious injury and dosent give up!
your all gonna burn in hell, i hope you go blind, people like us with prosthetic limbs get enough crap. But at least we still manage to live normal lives, unlike you immature people who really have to have your fun by looking and laughing at us.

All of these steps combined are known as a "whip." You get more power and distance out of a throw when it comes from a whip rather than just forcing your arm to throw it. Shoulder and hip rotation are very important. Also do not forget when throwing to follow all the way through. Let your leg swing freely around when finishing the throw. If you put your leg out and stop your self while you are coming around you can injure your self.
