Youtube is a great source of knowledge, phylosophy, humor, and many more stuff.

It also has a lot of pretentious videos, and mostly lamers that just go about and harass everyone with useless coments, but, well, that's the web. It happens everywhere in here.

I believe that YouTube is more than entertainment. I agree with the whole community concept. I mean, YouTube connects people. It takes us places, allows us to communicate our thoughts and ideas to those who would be willing to give, hopefully more often than not, positive feedback. YouTube, for me, is the only way I can travel to other places; I do not vLog, but I watch and leave comments that will hopefully make some sort of mark.

I think you make a very valid point in that with the lack of balanced media available, youtube could be a great source for multiple points of view from first hand accounts or even a great venue for actual artistic expression unfortunately we live a in a world where the majority of people's IQ's are less than that of a pet rock.
