  • Is it Faraday's motor?

  • Achievment Unlocked:Battery helihopter

  • Flap flap flap

  • which materials are used?

  • it is smaller thats why it runs fast.. if we want it it slower then just make copper a bigger ..right !

  • does it work with circle magenta i tried with circle one... it did't work.. Sorry m not physic but i love tolearn new things anyway.. :D

  • @randyortonx6 the battery creates an electromagnetic field with in the copper. The permanent magnet then repels it.

  • If Obama saw this he would immediately order a subsidy for a new car company.

  • can you use any magnet

  • How do this works? Can you explain me please?

  • Hey look, a fan!

  • Yea, we used a rechargeable to from your original vid and got this kind of speed, all though my kid just now found us something with alittle more kick, lets see... :()

  • FLY LITTLE THING! FLY!!!!

  • whats the physics behind this?

Is it the magnets that makes electrons spin threw their field-and since they are in the copperwire it all spins--???

  • super cool

  • does it accualy work cuz i am at the last minute and my science project is due tmrrw so i am going to use this? does the it drain the battery fast and does it have to be copper wire or can you have any wire? please respond!

  • cool

  • turn it backwords for unlimited battery :D

  • For how long will it run?

  • instuctions plz

  • and this is how you piss a teacher off with a wire, magnet, and a AA battery... hmmmmmm

  • in that previous video it was turning to right and now it't turning left, how? sorry for my english

  • @emil3331 its because the magnet polarization, if you flip it, the copper turns backwards.

  • Where i can have the Neodymium Magnet?????

  • awesome, now go make a milkshake X)

  • i have to do my homework, but i cant stop clickin on suggestions

  • @marthehop24 same here damnit

  • what magnet is under battery?

  • it could be use a windmill for a ant plantation

  • hey why it only moves to the right →?

  • thinking nice...............

  • totally not smallest lol...

  • @pufixas He didn't say the smallest, he said simplest. And he's right about that.

  • What is this witchcraft???

  • @jimmider2 No es enerjia cinetica y electrica lo estamos dando en cono la energia de las pilas hace que el iman se mueva .....

  • @JESUSXULL Do i seem spanish to you???

    Thank GOD for Google translate...

  • i think you might be able to make the copper wire charge the battery and then the motor can run a longer time.

  • hahahah thant is innovation

  • NOW USE A D BATTERY! :D

  • Thumbs up if u want to try it with wires being stuck.

  • These are really freakin' difficult to make. So much fiddling with the wire.

  • So that's how helicopter works...

  • O.o try this in a larger scale.. then add paper fins to the copper... Its a fan.. and it works!

  • even faster . even more faster . even more fuckin' fast . impossible even more fucking impossible fast-results:fly

  • tolle Sache. Sind das einfache Magnete? Wie stark ist das Kupferdraht?

  • Does it work with ceramic magnets?

  • now you make infinite money and then you sell it and there you have infinite money

  • @webman300 this is not free energy, in fact the baterry gets empty so fast.

  • @danky78 oh, thanks, Captain Obviosity ;)

  • @danky78 perpetuum mobile haha

  • Battery will overheat

  • Magnets, how do they work?

  • does it work with gold magnets too?

  • WOW YOU CAN ACTUALLY DETERMINE THE BATTERY'S CHARGE

  • Im-presionante

  • Forma toroidal! asi podriamos crear energia libre.

  • what's on the top of the battery?i mean the ting that holds the copper wire

  • chido (Y)

  • Y pensar que nos hacen creer que el petroleo es el combustible del mundo ...

Solo es un buen negocio para los de arriba...

  • i am make the boat with tkat motor

  • V1.6

  • thumbs up if you smiled while watching this

  • I now know what to do with almost-empty batteries

    \:D/

  • But does it blend?

  • Could u pls explain the working with Lorentz force and left hand rule..:-)

  • Now make a helicopter with that motor :D

  • Sounds like magic!

  • will any magnets work or do they have to be the neodmium ones?

  • Do zen magnets work? I think they're neodymium.

  • OMFG U found my electric mixer

  • You're a wizard, Harry.

  • Not as graceful as your first model, but still impressive how a motor can be made with three components.

  • is copper wire attracted to the neodymium magnet or not?

  • So all i need is a battery and a little magnet on the bottom? :)

And i have to make sure the cooper does not touch the battery, got it. ^^

Does it matter what magnet i use?

  • You should get some prise for this its really smart and simple...i tryed but i cant find that cind of Magnet... :)

  • @MarjanKING1

The kind of magnet is called "neodymium". They are found on-line, or take apart a shake-type rechargeable flashlight.

  • @Lucarias225 yes, you can do it

  • but it would fall apart if u tried to use it unless you have a little pin to keep in in

  • does the magnet and battery react so the copper wire can spin?

  • @superjose96121 no, the magnet only have a magnetic field. the electricity flow in the copper wire interacts with that magnetic field.

  • where can i get a magnet like that? stores where i live dont have them

  • @DemonOphidians i bought it in supermagnete dot de

  • @DemonOphidians i found some at home depot for about $3

  • Sounds pretty freakin' cool, to boot.

  • this is how cars will be powered in the future!

  • @knexfun This is how cars are powerd as we speak

  • Now do it in slow motion.

  • how do u get energy from it into another object

  • Wow

  • well its beats regular fans by energy

  • lol noob

  • ohh fuk i love it <3

  • 720p HD Full Screen

  • Very well

  • buenisimo si señor

  • how is it work?

  • Muy bueno

  • How many RPS those that?

  • put penis around it while its spining.....this isnt going to hurt this isnt going to hurt this isnt going to hurt OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

  • I WANT IT!!!!!!

  • At what point does a black hole open up?

  • can not be with another type of metal?

  • how do i make it

  • hows the torque on it?

  • can this go on forever?

  • omg i got on a fucking bracelet for this shit i brought it so school and they said i was tryingto plant a bomb!!

  • Me ha encantado

  • will this spin forever? if so i'm gonna make one for my room :D

  • @lilhaime2323 The battery will run out of power eventually, and may overheat since you're short circuiting it. If you try this, test it out for a while by putting it in a sealed disposable container in case the battery explodes.

  • @phort99 I put a warning about that, but I never seen a AA battery explode by its own charge. If it were a lithium battery it would be dangerous, but alkaline are safer.

  • @danky78 what about energizer?

  • @lilhaime2323 No sorry, it last only some minutes until the battery drains out.

  • @lilhaime2323 It Will if you have a battery the size of australia...

  • @pastrana2000 Actually, that is false. The battery, regardless of size, has a limited supply of power, and will eventually run out unless it is getting power from somewhere else.

This is common knowledge. It's simply the Law of Conservation of Energy, which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. If the battery can power the motor for infinity, then its efficiency is greater than or equal to 100%, which is impossible because you are creating energy.

  • @KCP100 Well then it will last for 1000 years...

  • @lilhaime2323 Did you really ask if something run by a battery will run forever?

  • @Zannypants666 yes i tought it was just the magnet

  • nice 1, tnx for sharing.

  • i don't understand really well how that runs? could u explainme please?

  • The future is now.. xD

  • fuck no you would have discovered america man! this is called electromagnetism!!

  • Magnetism. World's next boom!

  • OH MY GOD HOLY SHIT HOLY CRAP BRICKS MOTHER FUKER AMAZING TUMBS UP AGAIN

  • this.....

My bro did that when he was 8 or 9 years old

  • @johalsimran its a pity he didn't make a video to show others..

  • OMG SEX 360° :O

  • Muy buen vídeo, es muy curioso!!!! La misma pila al acer contacto con sigo misma atraves del alambre de cobre da electricidad, para empujar!!!

  • I wouldn't call a battery "simple" :P

  • its suprising car companys havnt found this out yet -.-

  • Wow q perron esta

  • sick!!!!

  • Estupendo

  • Wow!!

  • danky, I wasn't aware it was a false issue and how many people still believe it and worst, still teach about it. I found a web site that explains it very well, along with many other false issues, such as time of traveling across the world counter or wise planet rotation, so... THANK YOU VERY MUCH BUDDY.

  • @jesusenmochis you're welcome :)

  • Now, why does it turn counter clockwise? It depends on the hemisphere you do it?

  • @jesusenmochis No, it depends of the magnet polarity. In this video the magnet is reversed.

Btw, the issue about the water turns in different direction in each hemisphere is false, it depends of the sink geometry.

  • @danky78 actually, no, water will actually flow round counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern, but its true that in a sink or toilet it can flow either direction, or even straight down, but if any natural water were to begin to turn it will follow this rule, its the same reason why hurricanes spin in different directions north or south of the equator.

  • What danky78 says is half true. It depends on the sink geometry, of course. But it happens mainly because of the Coriolis acceleration. Since most of the sinks have almost the same geometry, the only thing that makes water turn in one direction or the opposite one, is the Coriolis effect.

With all my respect to danky78 :)

  • @dawnpurple The coriolis effect is very weak, it can't determine the direction of the water in toilets and sinks. Search google for "coriolis howstuffworks" or other webpages that talk about that myth.

When I saw these pages, I tried by myself, and I found that almost half sinks near my location turns clockwise and half counter-clockwise. And I'm not in ecuador :)

  • magnetic blender O.o

  • where u bought that!

  • Great job dude!

  • Como q hay q hacer algo mas creativo

  • very VERY impressive!!!

  • awesome

  • can you say how much the battery longs??

  • how did you get the top on that battery?

  • @outdoorsman310 it's a small magnet, but I use it only for make sure the copper doesn't move and fade away

  • @danky78 the thing in the base of the battery is a magnet too?, so, is the battery irrelevant?

  • @maxdeniel the battery is no irrelevant, the battery is establishing a current in the cupper wire and the neodimium magnet is just pulling or pushing half of the part of the horizontal wire that is at the bottom. If the current wassnt there, the magnet wouldnt be able to pull or to push the wire and I say to pull or push because it depends of the polarity of the battery and of if the magnet is in that position or up side down

  • Hey I just discovered your channel and it's awesome, all it needs is more video please?

  • @Tavernier66 Yes, im planning to do more videos :)

  • which magnet is that.

  • @360Anurag an neodimium magnet bought in supermagnete.de

  • Its better and faster than the old one.

  • are u a wizard?

  • This is pretty nifty. Now I have another question....can this be done with a D battery, leading to even faster results? :o

Also, aren't you basically shorting the battery out by doing this? Is there a potential for it to over heat and explode?

  • @MagicWuf If the D battery can give more amps than AA, then it would go fast.

Yes, its a short battery, it uses all the power that battery can give. The battery heats up. I never seen any battery explode, but take care and don't leave it running too much time.

  • FUCKING MAGNETS, HOW DO THEY WORK

  • @Wesley683 When They are digged from the ground, they still have gravity in them. :D

  • @Cr33DMineCr4ft With alternating current it cant work because each electric pulse would try to move it in a different direction so it would be stuck.

The paper propellers can work but it would have low force, I think it would not move so much air.

Is impossible to use that in an helicopter or airplane because it have very low efficiency (so much waste of entery and low torque). For these things you need a high efficiency motor.

  • @Cr33DMineCr4ft It have no practical usages so I suppose it can be patented :)

Maybe I can register it as intellectual property, but well, I prefer creative commons :D

  • @danky78 Send it in to the publishers of The Art of Chindogu. Chindogu is basicly an invention that seem like they could be usefull in some way but are actualy rather useless but cool nonetheless. For example sandles that grass can grow on for ppl that like walking barefoot on grass. :p

  • how long does the battery last roughly?

  • @Zomgoosey not much, maybe 15 or 20 minutes. in fact now im trying to recharge the battery but it seems that it don't charges anymore.. I suppose I overheated it and now its useless.

I suppose that is better to use non rechargeable batteries.

  • @danky78 thanks very much for the reply. I know not to waste a rechargeable one now.

  • Would a bigger battery like a D make it go faster? What if you put a few of them in series? Cool vid!

  • @nathanuc1988 It goes faster because the copper 'wings' are nearer to the magnet/battery.

I think that the size of the battery is not important but the battery is better and can supply more current, it will go faster.

Im not sure but I think that batteries in series would be same speed but longer duration, you would need to put them in parallel.

  • ALL two of you????

  • I want to make one now :(

  • I did this just tonight to show reddit people that it can be done with AA battery.

Thumbs up if you like it! ;)
