  • You get protein from milk and the nuts in it. For your protein you should have your body weight then multiple it by .8 or .9 for body builders.

  • Great recipe JD! Especially for someone like me who hates plain oatmeal.......Thanks for the post good brother!

  • looks good and all no protein?

  • This young rees is killing me hahaha

  • What do you think of Coach's Oats oatmeal?

  • Can anybody write down the ingredients of the recipe please?

I didnt understand the name of the specific pumpkin he used, the syrup and the other liquid.

    Thanx in advance.

  • **leaves, then returns with the same shirt, different color** "Alright, now I'm in my work clothes!"

  • This guy buys great value when he's got more money than most will ever see

  • @gopioneersgo If I ever get rich I'll still buy great value. It's pretty much family tradition now

  • Who are the sorry-fat-brained-assed morons that would rate this video negative? Must be armchair fitness experts with fat stomachs that are jealous of Jeff.

  • Very nice Jeff...! I ll make it, dude...!

  • how tall are you?

  • @MrNflow he looks 5'8

  • The microwave literally ruins the food. It distorts the molecular structure of the food. Or something to that effect ;p Also cooking food in plastic tupperware kinda shit, the plastic can leech the vitamins and minerals out of the food.

They are actually banned in Russia. Theyre terrible. We should never use them.

  • @thatstheguy07 damn, i heard of this but hope it doesnt effect the food TOO much, as i make my nighttime protein food in the microwave every night... i dont know how else i would even cook it

  • @DarkDayz85 I think it ruins it enough to be an issue. Dr Mercola has written an good article on it. Russia has actually banned microwaves in the entire country, back in the 80s I believe, because theyre shitty and dangerous lol

    Get rid of it man.

  • @thatstheguy07 Why is it dangerous?

  • @thatstheguy07 thanks for the advise.

i have been trying to get rid of my microwave for a while now but the convenience is too great...but i agree, they are dangerous not to mention mine also leaks radiation (found this out by doing the cell phone test)

also, Dr. Mercola is great! i discovered his website a few months ago and always check his reviews before buying that new supplement..

  • JD what kind of magic microwave you got there?

  • Jeff why dont you mention which exercise is meant to work on which muscle groups. i am in my 5th week (had to repeat co of challenge faliure :P) and that is the only complaint I have so far. please tell this info with all your exercises in the exercise manual.. thanks

  • question. i used to mix protein powder in my oatmeal. will the heat begin to break down the proteins in the powder? or is it good to do so.. rather than mixing it with water.

  • @Krazyleggz742

Ive been making protein porrige for ages & what i do is stir it in after its cooked

  • @Krazyleggz742 Mix it in after its done. And dont use a microwave ;)

  • Jeff i bought your program about 8 weeks ago.. how do i get the 'ripped for the holidays' video?

  • 5 minute shower impossible

  • its possible.....:/

  • Always wanted to know if you camera man as ripped as you?

  • Can somebody traduce the ingredients into spanish. I dont understand a thing about what he,s mixing in that bowl. Thankssss

  • @kaleexto Thanks friend. Gracias amigo.

  • Damn, i can't wait to make that…looks yummy!

  • @Univox68 seriously? it looks yummy???......xD

  • you should give the whole to the dog ...

  • I wish i can wear that for my work clothes

  • Off topic too. What about grip strength Jeff? I find that as I'm doing your workouts I seldom cannot hold the heavier dumbbells. Is there anyway to incorporate grip strength into A-X?

  • Dude I tried the recipe this morning. Hella good!

  • loooooooooooool save some for my dog...... i wonder how muscular his dog is

  • @hasula202 LOL exactly what i thought so funny!

  • @hasula202 Here you go; /watch?v=5ia5zdfoou0

  • @Grapie30 haha looooooooooooooooool

  • This is actually off the topic of the video. Can you make a video about deadlift workout - the correct way to do it and the benefit of doing it. Is this an exercise that you recommmend?

  • Ive always wondered, when u do workout vids or anything who films you?!

  • @SpecOpsMission from the position of the camera ...it seems like he's using a stand or something

  • @XfaCTor94 yeah but when he does workout vids who records it

  • @SpecOpsMission hurm, since he's married, his wife maybe???

  • @XfaCTor94 True she must dig his body lol

  • @SpecOpsMission lol......

  • love it.

Ive got the diet down and sorted, but its coming towards the holidays, I'm going to be enjoying a few too many drinks. I don't want to abstain from alcohol, wheres the fun in that. So whats the best thing to drink ? Thanks.

  • Is there an alternative to using skim milk? Maybe 2%, or silk milk?

  • I covet that kitchen so much

  • @hakirby yup yup, for a guy who just uses microwaves and doesn't cook much.....that kitchen is freaking complete.......:/

  • @XfaCTor94 He's married dude

  • @john0022 he's married??? :/ explains the kitchen.........xD, but i still covet that kitchen ....

  • @XfaCTor94 Yeah I didn't realise he was married until he mentioned it in 1 of his previous video's.

  • @john0022 :), good for him though....i wonder when will i meet mine?...xD

  • @XfaCTor94 Hope you do find someone :)

  • I think I continue eating as I want in the mornings and still getting ripped....

  • Jeff, how about a video of what stretches are important post workout?

  • @edu243346 the regulars,man : shoulders, BACK,LEGS and chest < 3

  • Can somebody tell me the ingredients?

I'm not used to that accent, so I didn't understand a thing besides pumpkin and oatmeal

  • @Twixxmix oatmeal, canned pumpkin, maple syrup, oats, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, brown sugar, walnuts :)

  • So i shouldn't mix my whey with a mountain dew in the morning anymore?

  • @Tallmark1 Heh heh, if I stopped eating meat and dairy, I'd wish I was dead so what's the difference?

  • @JDCav24 Instead of skim milk, can i use almond milk

  • @miyakun

yes u can it's all about what u prefer, dont have to follow someone else diet. almond milk taste better than cow milk imo.

  • jeff, what ingredients did you used on your breakfast?

  • you wana get ripped and lose fat, just spit out anything that taste's good :*(

  • can you add somthing else in? like say apples or somthing?

  • Isn't pumpkin a Halloween theme?? Thanksgiving theme without Turkey??

  • is skim milk compared to normal milk really going to help with fat loss?

  • @mybishthing Yeah. Based on the number of calories you'd save. It mostly comes down to the numbers. If you drink lots of milk, then skim milk is probably required

  • i hate pumpkin..... -.-

  • Milk water and syrup..yumm

  • I dont know about you but i really want to know the science behind building muscle and losing fat at the same time, and i would love to see what Jeff has to say about this.

If you want to build muscle and lose fat at the same time please like this so jeff sees this and answers the questions were all asking !!!

  • @reallyletsdoit its just being able to adequately supply your nutritional requirements whilst running at a calorie deficit so you burn fat whilst satisfying your macro nutrient requirements

  • @3QuaNiMiTyy Sorry Im a newb but does that just mean eating fewer calories than you need to maintain your current weight ( ie if 2500 calories would keep you at the same weight eat 2,000-2,100 or so) while having the right amount of carbs, protein, and fats...? How do i figure out the right macro nutrients for myself? And thanks so much for answering because any time i research i always see people saying its impossible because you need a caloric surplus while others say the same thing as you ?

  • i already have the program plus how do i get that extra

  • WAY too much High-Glycemic Sugars for my metabolism...Vanilla Extract...Maple Syrup...Brown Sugar...YUCK!

  • whats the difference between regular sugar and brown sugar?

  • btw is the milk really needed? microwave + milk = ???

  • Comment removed

  • Everything Jeff does is amazing

  • you could also throw an egg in there for some protein. It'll cook right along with everything else.

  • Great simple recipe. I really enjoyed it. Actually, everything in the Athlean X plan is pretty good, and extremely easy to follow. Please post more items to work in, though. I am on my third go around, and looking to add some new dishes.

  • Hahahahaha young reese

  • you need to upload more of these

  • coincidence i have the same microwave and cinamon i think not 0_0. cant wait to try this

  • two years of watching this guy...and i still dont know who young reese is

  • Hair still looks exactly the same....

  • euw microwave

  • euw ditch the canned pumpkin. And use fresh steamed.

  • thats what u look like straight outta bed? mhmm

  • How many protein does this meal contain? not much right?

  • Jeff,

Im 16 and i play baseball for my school. Also, I am a religious follower of your channel. I have been working out independently for the past two years on and off; however, for the past month or so ive really been serious about lifting (4 times a week at the least). I usually work out these muscle groups at a time: chest-tri-shoulders, back-bi-core, and legs separately. My question is if you think im doing this correctly? Also, how many exercises per muscle group should i be doing?

    Thanks

  • SPLENDA? Why would you do that to yourself Jeff? That is seriously terrible for your body.

  • shredded wheat with 0% fat free milk with sliced bannas on the bowl , glass of water and 2 slices of whole wheat is my best breakfast ever.

  • Looks nice jeff, will try it out next morning ! ;D Good job!

  • You can also use almond milk too :), thanks for the recipe

  • The only reason I measure my oakmeal is because I want the oakmeal/milk ratio to be good, so it won't get the thick or to thin

  • how did you get the bird's mug shot?! 0:40

  • Am I the only one that thinks Pumpkin with Oats is a bit odd? lol

  • Greetings from Germany Jeff, loving every single video!

Keep up the your great work, very inspiring :)

  • Plesee i need mor nutrition videos, i work out everyday but i dont have meal plan :/

  • Nice but can you substitute the pumpkin with something like peanut butter or something?

  • @mymusiconline24 Yeah, I do that every morning with my oatmeal. Use natural though, not that skippy stuff.

  • @VC15524 So as long as you use the all nateral peanut butter its okay? Were do you find that, is it with the skippy stuff?

  • ok now the lunch, dinner, and snacks XP

  • happy thanksgiving jeff ..and everyone

  • nice one, not sure bout the pumpkin though...

  • i wouldnt put plastic container in the microwave- lots of studies done. it leaches and who needs xenoestrogens.

  • thanks jeff, your videos always help me a lot, i have recently gotten into weight lifting and i have this question bugging me, what is the difference between strength training and training for size?, thanks again for the video

  • @01coyote13 normally strength training is in the 5-8 rep range as heavy as you can, often resting to full recovery between sets. Hypertrophy is normally in the 8-12 rep range with 30-90 second rest between sets. But everyone is different :)

  • @kratoslevit even if you do super sets?(bench press, pull ups, for example)

  • @01coyote13 Well, like I said, everyone is different. You may find what works for you to gain inches on your arms in no time at all will be supersetting in the 8 rep range, but if I did it, I may have no visual change.

Experiment around a lot, I'd change routines every 6-8 weeks and see what works best.

My previous comment was only general guidlines so dont take it as the bible.

    Train hard my friend!

  • I do this all the time. It taste soooo good =)

  • Great video Jeff. I used the meal plan to give me tips on what I should be eating. I lost a stone, and a trousers size, by following the plan and doing basic exercises. Diet, I realised, was the most important change to my routine rather than workout routine. Thanks

  • good stuff this!

  • now I know why I failed to build myself big...

coz I cant really eat shit like this...

it looks like how u feed pigs...

  • @XiangC6 keep on looking like a pig then..

  • Can you please do a workout video on biulding the middle of your upper back and traps? Please. Thank you

  • One great way to sweeten oatmeal is to replace the water or milk with 1/2 apple juice and 1/2 water. This gives just a touch of sweetness and apple flavor.

  • Those walnuts are important! They are good for prostate health, us older men should be eating a handful every day to keep our prostate from growing so we can pee normally.

  • @jwhite34 Stop eating meat and dairy and you'll never have a prostrate problem. Check out "forks over knives dot com."

  • @jwhite34 think 38 is waaay to early to consider yourself an older man, but the advice is good ;)

  • The training is the easy part.. nutrition is bitch.

  • @MrMuaythaimitko don't forget resting...

  • @MrMuaythaimitko heelll yeeeah!!!

  • orrrrrr you can just eat cashy go lean and it takes 1 min to make and it has more protein than an egg and like 5 grams of fiber...jus saying

  • all that shit, why dont u just get some dried oats mix with a whey proteion shake and bam u got it.

  • @ericunder29 Because that combo doesn't taste too good, and it doesn't carry the theme of what Jeff was trying to convey in this video.Nice kitchen, btw,JD. I agree that dried oats+whey protein or casein protein in a shake gitz bizzy, and so does what 62890ballplaya suggested.

  • Jeff, milk makes me fart and have stomach aches, I believe I'm lactose intolerant. What type of milk if any would be ok for me to drink?

  • @MrSiko11208 why you want milk? i believe i saw soia milk? lol anyway.. you can drink/eat other stufs if you are intolerant to lactose..:)

  • @MrSiko11208 Lactose free milk.

  • Lol that would have been funny if he came back in his work cloths and didn't have a shirt on.

  • Fact: stew leonards skim milk: greatest thing on earth

  • @jdt214 ?????

  • looks like baby poop!

  • I want to get the pumpkin but can't find it in Europe... Sux ballz

  • @MysticoNL you can replace it with whatever type of squash you can get there. butternut, acorn, zuccini, any will work. might not be exactly the same but similar in taste and texture.

  • recently i have grown to hate oatmeal..like, to the point where i cant even keep it down. i dont know why this is because i have eat it almost everyday for over a year.

  • @TIPFAN4Lyfe try some stevia ( sweetener), brown sugar makes it ALot better

  • @TIPFAN4Lyfe i put a spoon full of sugar and loads of honey over mine, otherwise its just disgusting!

  • @MrDutto Use stevia - a natural calorie free sweetener.

  • @TIPFAN4Lyfe you eat it everyday for over a year.... see the problem? try adding cinnamon, its not bad for your health and sweetens it a bit

  • It's Cool Young Reese.....

  • can you do a video on bulking, please?
