  • This is what my coach told me when i played in high school. It was so much easier when he taught me this

  • you should have stood square to the camera, it's very deceiving but good tip.

  • I actually worked this out for myself recently, but got a little different way of going about it. I find that if you have your hands in the center of your body, and make sure your club is sitting flat on the ground, and that the club is right behind the ball, you have the ball in the correct position. From there I simply widen my stance so that the ball sits just inside my left heel. Once I learnt that trick I pretty much connect with the ball properly 90-95% of the time.

  • No offense, but this method doesn't "simplify" ball position. Nicklaus's method, for the average golfer, seem to be the simplest or easiest method to incorporate on the golf course, IMHO.
