It's called "A Man of Determination" which is a modern version of an older Chinese song, and this version was used in the Once Upon a Time in China films. This version is sung by George Lam. Type this after the YouTube address and you find it

    /watch?v=ThifXbelTWw

  • @InsightfulDOODE ...if what you say is true, the Shaolin and the Wu-Tang could be dangerous... do you think your Wu Tang Sword can defeat me??????

  • @ogfunk187 Well my style is immensely strong, and immune to nearly any weapon

When it's properly used, it's almost invincible.

  • @InsightfulDOODE

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA go challenge a master...

  • This looks amazing!

  • Amazing....

  • awsome contrast to the shaolin/southern styles of tiger!

  • love it!

  • that style would be very good for picking things up off the floor of a dirty room and shelving them

  • lol its funny, I'm used to having very long nails since I was 11, so I've gotten into the habit of them being my natural defense tool, so I automatically go into the tiger stance (leg back and a leg forward, both bent, and making claw shaped arms) when I jump or get startled

  • I think i watched about 10 times

  • @dabidoe Jew-Jutsu is the best :D

  • @dabidoe i am jew and i learn kung fu XDD but there is a joke and its called jew jitsu :D anyway i dont think you can defeat him :P

  • If you want to know the song it's Jet li's theme song in the movie " Once upon a time in China." :)

  • this man is the best kung fu master i ever seen.

  • hey. wanted to share with you that this is actually called "Taming Tiger Form/Boxing" and. the name of it is "Fu Hu Quan". So, a little different than Tiger Form. Thanks for the upload, No doubt a Spectactular demonstration. Wudang "Long Hua Quan" or "Dragon Form" is probably the closest you might find a Tigerish style.

  • This perswades me to study the tiger more.

  • this song is jet li's theme song

  • incredable

  • the song on this vid is epic haha

  • He moves so fast, I cannot steal it!

  • @philsnk really? really? he moves fast oh i tough he was playing it faster like 16times faster itss really really slow...............................but nvm u did not know that :D

  • @fosisjemoeder Watch the video.. If the video was sped up... His loose clothing would be swinging at an unnatural rate... If you were to slow this video down... His clothes would be moving in slow motion... Which I guess would be even more impressive than fast tiger style.... lol

  • Wow

  • cant wait to learn this next year

  • I like the music, what´s the name of the song?

  • Man of determination-George lam

  • Is this guy from Wudang?

  • @KarimHouari yes

  • @KarimHouari this guy is a master of wudang ..

    His name is Chen Shixing

  • kung fu isnt for ppl who have a strong builth or whatever chinese farmers are the first who made kung fu wich later was ment to help the weak ppl defend them selfs.....

  • @policiaX when i first learned hung gar i wasnt exactly skinny no matter your size you can still learn

  • @patientcures you got allot to learn my friend haha

  • @unlucky

I know this already. However only 180 are used for striking.

  • pls what is the name of song from 0:00 to 0:08, I just know that the next one is Wong fei Hong

  • @Lukass12 A Man of Determination. In Chinese film this song has always been extended to the Ten Tigers of Canton and (later on by extension, I guess since his dad was one of the Ten Tigers) to Wong Fei Hung.

  • tiger style rules

  • @TheShotokankarateguy Dragon style, or Lung Ying rules...cheers

  • Tiger style, my favourite style of all!

  • Jesus created Ninjutsu, God created Kung-Fu!!!

  • People should wear true Chinese martial art clothes like the master in this video not the Manchu clothes, maybe Manchu clothes for Taijiquan.

  • Dear JavaJaxRex,

I think that you have made a good deal of sweeping generalizations. Good MMA fighters who are "straight forward and brash" do not become champions. However I do agree that Gung Fu has alot to offer the MMA community. I train MMA and also studied white tiger gung fu, wing chun, and thai chi. I also study the internal aspects such as chi gong where I move the energy through my three dan tiens and 12 channels. I also know about the 180 pressure points that can be struck.

  • @widugeist Sorry but there are 361 pressure points on the human body...

  • @Unlucky13Lucky actually there are about 722. 361 per body side.

  • @juacimm I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you. You may have to count them. >.<

  • real shaolin

  • @Lukass12 I think it's actually Wudang, but yes, genuine kung fu.

  • i love the song, i'm practising tiger style but it's pritty hard xD, could you tell me the song please ^^

  • i study shotokan karate but this was amazing

  • where are you hiding? come to my country you will be WELCOME. thing you need is teachers like you. shame that my country has never had teachers like that. Since my childhood I liked to practice with a Chinese kung fu and I have 31 old and I have achieved my dreams. I congratulate you my respect to you brother. Greetings

  • I agree brother miniseries martial arts film. from small I liked solely and exclusively Chinese kung fu and I've always wanted to have a friendship with a Chinese and have never seen an opportunity. Congratulations

  • im going to try and learn all the styles i can all ready do pray-mantas style

  • how does this guy move so smooth?

  • @WoWisalotoffun

wu dang makes him move so smooth

  • @WoWisalotoffun Dedication

  • JEt Li xD

  • ROFLMAO

  • i cant stop watchin this.

  • Way is bjj?

  • my style kung fu

  • That is certainly not to say there isn't value in BJJ, for that very reason if nothing else (or to say that no practitioner of BJJ is skilled, because that would be wrong), but come on. It doesn't make you God because you can armlock some dude. Literally anyone could do that, from Bruce Lee, to me, all the way down to that dancing toddler in that viral commercial that's going around.

  • Comment removed

  • @JavaJaxRex I agree. That's the #1 turnoff to stuff like UFC for me. Not necessarily the style practiced, but the attitude of MMA fighters in the media, always talking shit, which inspires the legion of retarded people who worship them to do the same.

Not to mention that BJJ literally doesn't require skill. I have a messed up equilibrium from an accident, and look retarded trying to do acrobatics, but I can do BJJ apparently half crippled.

  • @JavaJaxRex It's a shame that'll never happen. But 10 points for trying.

  • @JavaJaxRex Yes. Not to mention ridding themselves of that tedious list of banned moves...like plucking out an eyeball or ripping out the throat.

  • @JavaJaxRex thats because the "straight forward bash" is much more effective. by keeping your body centered and balanced you're able to generate much more power and speed. The flamboyant martial arts may be stylish, and they do keep your opponent guessing, but if he is focused and knows his way around dirty boxing and jiujitsu, it will make it more interesting.

  • @JavaJaxRex Uhm.. the tiger also rushs,. I had many fights against tigers and I just can watch, because they attack just when the fight begins. He opens your defense and go in, everytime. You have to be faster or you lose in the first 3secs.

  • @JavaJaxRex most kung fu is banned from MMA. its in the small print. reason being these guys would slaughter

  • @JavaJaxRex yeah that sounds good, let me know when a kung fu guy using pure kung fu knocks out an mma fighter.

  • The song is from Once Upon a Time in China, Awesome movies

  • i have been interested in the Tiger Techniques but i have heard of the dangerous Yin Technique. I heard after long periods of training you can tear skin and flesh, but i also hear after a very long time you can rip through someones throat and rip some ones jugular out? is this true? ( i only want someone who is in the practice of kung fu or the uploader of this video to answer thank you)

  • @CAPTAINxCOOKIES yes but you should never do that of course...

  • hahaha mma cant do anything! they ball up and the moment they strike theyre screwed. chi gong and kung fu martial artists can take the hits just as well as they can dish them out. mma cant do either. like punkish1 said...no chi and no form. i know ppl who take mma and they dont even know what it is lol. what an effective art hahaha!

  • Amazing ! Wish that I can do something like him . ^^ And yeah... cool song .. what's the name of song? Cool, really cool .

  • @HumarKristina you can study kung fu. target a school that teaches a northern style rather than southern style (like Wing Chun). You're never too young or old to start.

  • @HumarKristina this song is called Wong Fei Hung theme, there are different version here on youtube you should check out

  • @HumarKristina a man of determination

  • @HumarKristina

It's from OUTC - “男儿当自强” / "Nan Er Dang Zi Qiang"

  • @HumarKristina A man of determination- George Lam

  • this is amazing love the song and love the arts!

(hate to fuck with this guy lol)

  • its annoying how it keeps skipping to the nest clip .

i dont think thats tiger style .

  • i might be young (1998) BUT I WHO WAS BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE TIGER WILL LEARN THE STYLE OF THE MIGHTY TIGER

  • @lowmask2 oh and wats this song called

  • @lowmask2 werrd lol

  • @pointyrules1 which one you answered cause there is 2 one is the tiger thing the other one is the song called

  • @lowmask2 might be young and w.e lmao

  • beautiful, awesome x 1000. All of the styles are effective, boxing, grappling, wrestling, kung fu and being able to adapt to your opponents weakness is essential to victory,

  • What's the name of the song?

  • tiger style son! i was born year of the tiger and i will make it my duty to learn this style! 1986. im dedicating my life to eradicating every other form of martial art with the tiger style!

  • @extracredit100 You have some tough work ahead of you.

  • @Palafico3 no doubt. i fear im already too old for it. 23, not as flexible as i was thats for sure. but i feel im a perfect weight. 150 pounds without clothes. i can do back hand springs n front hand springs. but i never trusted myself enough for the full flips. im sure i can do them. flexability is what the name of the game is though. i also heard to really REALLY know the tiger claw u have to meet a master that shows u to a tree n makes u rake it for years until nerves are gone nhandslikeclaw

  • plz song name!! I <3 KUNG FU!!

  • @talal4kurd

The song is called a Man of Determination, also known as the Wong Fei Hung theme.

  • this is really cool but i am lerning karate goju-ryu

  • @MrKaratekid611 i learned goju ryu when i was little . in bunbury , western australia . shihan allan burdett

  • Im learning Tiger Kung fu right now its one of the most difficult forms

  • Perfect

  • i heard this song on a chineese channel my grandma watched! but it wasnt singing it was instruments

  • isn't it mantis style?

  • i would love to have him as a teacher but im in usa :(

  • 0:42 were some nice kicks

  • Look at him go this is a wu dan tiger gong fu form and hes doing it FAST and hes beast btw is this the same guy from seven star form ?

  • uff....this is to much movie type fighting its cool to watch but i dont think it will go as a good fighting way tbh...cool song tough :P

  • i heard this song on a chinnese kung fu show! and i was like 'that was the song from this youtube video'!

  • TIGER STYLE IS THE BEST!!!!

  • do they teach this style outside wudan mountain?

  • Kung fu is amazing, but what would they do if the fight got to the ground? Try Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the world most effective hand-to-hand combat style.

  • @julianfigielguitar

That's the thing about a Kung Fu master... He would never let the fight go to the ground. Tackle? He'll just perform a counter instead of rolling on the floor.

  • @th3warr1or lol not true they can get on the ground if they want which is a figting style too but they dont use it as much and they have no need for the ground to kick ppls asses.

  • @griqs

Well, I just don't like it how MMA fans say that BJJ will defeat traditional martial arts because "even bruce lee wouldn't know what to do on the ground...".

  • @th3warr1or BJJ is great for a controled situation. In a street fight I do not want to be on the ground.I can use BJJ to fall corectly,or to get up a fast asap.

  • @th3warr1or BJJ helps you to fall corectly and to use chocks and how to get up as soon fast so how would it beat a traditional martial art dude

  • @th3warr1or

Obviously do a drunken fist maneuver and slide yourself up from the ground as you create large distance with your kick. I doubt some grappler knows how to dodge a kick to the face coming straight from the ground. 8D

  • WHAT THE SONGS NAME !

  • @H0ngPhatBoi

    A Man Of Determination.

  • i dont see this as tiger kung fu.its all about ferociousness, speed and agression.this looks like mantis in my opinion plus it is too fast.

  • Does anybody know this style. I want to learn it

  • @goblindemin wu dan tiger gong fu is the style.

  • ill be honest the only reason i know jack about this stuff is because my brother is the black belt, but i shall soon be his student and it is crane and tiger i am most interested in. im not looking forward to the conditioning but it'll be worth it. im interested to see how my body structure will be after i become fit, i think itll be more suitable for monkey but, idk.

  • i know the song but i only know it in chineese

  • i wanna learn this!!! soo bad!

  • can some one tell me this song plezz!!

  • NINETEEN PEOPLE MISSED THE LIKE BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eye check up or something

  • I am very intrested and willing to pay. If any one is a true master and see's this message. I willing to pay if u know the style of tiger, You must be from china, Or trained there. Thanks

  • @goblindemin hahahahahahaha

  • song??

  • i love di5 fukin song i promise i kan listen 2 di5 all day while i do my kung fu hung gar style i freakin love kung fu kung fu rule!!!!! tiger, crane style

  • i think i wanna study my chinese history now and learn more about my race and learn kung fu also :P

  • original ancient martial arts are the only way to go.

  • thats not tiger style.

  • I don't see a lot of tiger just a man running around. the tiger is aggressive that man diddent show any aggressiveness, and I don't like when people do the tiger style kick a lot. when I do the tiger I just like to use my hands and elbows.

  • This man.

His joints are made of RUBBER.

  • I love wudang clan martial art,expecially taichi,xingyi,bagua.

    But tis is cool

  • im a martial artist myself, and have had plenty of boxing skills....a little jiu jitsu (not gracies) but nevertheless....it depends,i still say a good MMA fighter will beat a kung fu student,my dad use to teach karate so im not dissing Martial Arts, but honestly most of them dont work from the back or close guard, they teach distance and defense....a good brawler or MMA fighter can get inside that Kung fu guard and make you eat teeth

  • @carnienatas

im a mma fighter and i say mma will beat kung fu in the ring with all the rules but if a mma master fights against a kung fu master without rules the kung fu master would kill him in a few minutes. kung fu isnt based in strength its based in speed technique so the kung fu master would beat the mma master

  • @Ef0sh i can see what you mean, but actually its kung fu that has the rules, fighting is fighting....anything go's (thats the real way of fighting),the only winner is the one who isnt laying on the ground, mma only has a couple rules, kung fu comp's are always more than likely a sport dance or an extensive sparring session, never just fight....and they have so many rules its not even funny, mma doesnt, maybe you got them backwards?

  • @carnienatas

no sorry i dont got them backwards, normally the rules are the same as ever but some tournaments got special rules so it depends on the one whos making the competition.. but what i meant is in kung fu you hit ones throat with your hands or stick your fingers in ones eyes and these things arent allowed in the ring you know ? :D

  • @Ef0sh ah yes i understand what you mean, mma does have restrictions, but am i not true to say a kung fu tourny has more, mma is a brawl, almost anything go's.....in MA tournaments its not about knocking your opponent out or hurting them its about getting hits to the chest, hell some you cant even do headshots, thats what i meant about kung fu having more rules, you cant even down your opponent unlike mma where you go for blood

  • @carnienatas the purpose is to show technique and form, not injury. But if you are looking for a kung fu style that draws blood or goes for knock out then look at Sanda, or Sanshou.... *bow*

  • @WingChunMonkey well TY for that, yes i look for a art that is practical,90% of dojo's have the philosophy that you dont use what you learn,i say screw that,im learning something to use it when necissary,i dont wanna learn funny looking dances,i want to learn to actually defend myself in a real life situation, one thing of which alot of MA dont prepare students for, real life situations, they teach them to dance...like this

  • @carnienatas While I agree, I also disagree. Sometimes people don't learn martial arts for defense they learn it for the physical, spiritual, and mental disciplines as well. While this may not seem that effective, it did help the Shoalin Monastery defend itself from thousands of raiders and attempts to steal the valuable statues and artifacts they held. The "funny dances" build strength, speed, and power for the moves that their actual defense system uses, which is Sanshou and Sanda.
