Grow up guys, I'm a 17 year old MALE ballet dancer.

I don't think anyone realises that ballet takes so much strength and is incredibly under-rated for it's difficultly. I played FOOTBALL all my life (up until last year) as well as ballet, and absolutely DO NOT believe it makes me any more weak or feminine. Hell, I did football for years and my year of ballet classes, I was at least 4 times as exhausted and sore from torn muscles than I was with football.

Gay or straight, boys have to be mentally and physically tough to get into and stay in ballet. Only in the US do guys have such a hangup about ballet and tights. Russian boys and European boys are way smarter than American guys and have figured out long ago that getting into ballet seriously is a great way to meet girls and get laid. You have to wonder about our American high school football players who seem to be more interested in hanging around other naked sweaty men most of the time.

it takes a heck of alot more stamina to run up and down a football pitch then stand on a hand rail lifting ur legs... and it takes alot more toughness to go out on a pitch then to stand on a stage with a bunch of losers... as in ur case ballet dancers probably cry when they fall over not in football.

lol its losers like you that dont know shit about ballet. just standing at a "hand rail" is harder work than you think it is. Every muscle is working to hold the body in the right position, and ballet dancers dont just lift their leg they have to do it with the correct technique. In football they get breaks in between each play. they go on the side drink gatorade, slap other boys asses. when a ballet dancer is on stage they are never relaxed, always thinking about the placement of their bodies.
