Filthy Animals was the best. I liked Disco Konan Tori Rey and Kidman. I remember i was like 7 and i was praying After kidman v.s Rey they would become "friends" and kidman would join filthy animals. And it heppend.

It's just that WWE is retarded and severely limits the amount of moves any guy can do for some reason I don't understand (lower chance of injury? although that's laughable, you don't make good wrestlers by having them never do moves). The same thing has happened to CM Punk and Evan Bourne, and will happen to Christopher Daniels if he signs with WWE like rumors suggest.

Rey probably is worse than he was back in the day (he's battling injuries, that's understandable) IMO. As for WWE, I think that's for the established face wrestlers or the not as technical wrestlers more than the actual up and coming wrestlers or the heels. It also falls a bit on the casual audience nowadays too, if you notice they get hyped more for the finisher during the build up the face gets in his comeback mode.

well, Rey without his mask was also a 23-25 year old veteran in the absolute prime of his life. still, nothing touches the moves and acrobatic skill of mysterio with the mask from ECW to his first few years in WCW. You could tell how he was truly better than Ultimo Dragon, Jushin Thunder, Psicosis, Juventud cause he always carried them. The only guys truly on the same level as him were Eddie and Malenko.But I still like Rey now, he is still exciting even with the HGH lol His costumes are sick

@DjDeeve, that's most likely because of his age, and all the wear and tear his body's been put through. Rey can't afford to take the same risks anymore, but I think he's still one of the better performers that WWE has.
Yea I show my lil borther a lot of WCW and old WWF tapes and between today's and 90's wrestling guess which one he likes better. They will only recognize Rey because of the mask but even my brother agrees he was way better then plus his moveset wasnt so limited as like where alot of moves are banned.

dont get me wrong im a big fan of Rey as he is now what i mean is they all had more control back then and these days i dont like how they are using some of the wrestlers and just making things to repetitive same main event ppl and not letting others shine or get enough air time

well, Rey without his mask was also a 23-25 year old veteran in the absolute prime of his life. still, nothing touches the moves and acrobatic skill of mysterio with the mask from ECW to his first few years in WCW. You could tell how he was truly better than Ultimo Dragon, Jushin Thunder, Psicosis, Juventud cause he always carried them. The only guys truly on the same level as him were Eddie and Malenko.But I still like Rey now, he is still exciting even with the HGH lol His costumes are sick

yeah right. everybody had to carry dragons ass especially after the surgery. he was like jushin thunder liger part 2. i've never seen rey mysterio "act" like's he's slow or hurt for so long as I did when he fought Dragon. He really slowed himself down for that dude and Dragon is my other favorite wrestler but I hate when they tried to make him a high flyer cause Rey just outclassed him even when they had Dragon win

@DjDeeve, that's most likely because of his age, and all the wear and tear his body's been put through. Rey can't afford to take the same risks anymore, but I think he's still one of the better performers that WWE has.

Yea I show my lil borther a lot of WCW and old WWF tapes and between today's and 90's wrestling guess which one he likes better. They will only recognize Rey because of the mask but even my brother agrees he was way better then plus his moveset wasnt so limited as like where alot of moves are banned.

how are you even arguing this? because humans can take 50 punches and full force kicks to the face and still stand.... they get injured since it's still a sport and sport injuries happen. which is why they go through insane amounts of training on how to land right and shit like that. they are basically stuntmen

Absolutely, I know all that. They go through alot to be prepaired. There's a "fake" aspect to wrestling( storylines planning out what's going to happen in the matches etc.. I don't know everything about wrestling. But i know alot about profestional wrestling. Are you mad at me becouse of my question to the person? rey sr.and konnan wrestled 4 nwa/wcw at starrcade '90 as part of the pat o'connor tag tourney...i think they lost 2 muta/saito in the semis,after beating the team from south africa (which really wasnt,and had ted petty/rocco rock in it) or a canadian team whose members are guys i cannot remember 4 the life of me!!!

Uh he was in ECW before he was in WCW. ECW gave him the opportunity to get noticed. He was with WCW till the company was bought by Vinny, and he debuted with the WWE I believe in either 02 or 03

actually he was in ECW for like 5 minutes, what gave him the oportunity to be in WCW, was konnan, who was highly influencial in WCW in recruiting mexican guys for WCW. If anything gave him notice was his matches in japan. Believe me, rey was in ECW for 5 minutes, its only relevant now, because WWE sells WCW as being crap... maybe its the result of alot of bad blood
