I love adam. I don't know how it feels to be trans but I do know how people can react to the change. My sister is MTF it was never hard for me to except but it was for her friends and some of our family.
I am MTF and much older, but I think Jorden has done a great job with this character. If you are trans at any age it can be hard. You feel like being yourself is hurting everyone arround you, but it's not like that.
Change is hard for everyone, but growing up is all about change. In the end people will like the real you better, because you will be happier when you don't have to use so much emotional energy keeping up the act that you are who they want you to be.
@Fancypantsalldaii It's hard for parents to call their kid a different name regardless. When I was younger I tried to get my parents to call me by my nickname instead of name and it never worked.

Sometimes coming out is best but I can't lie sometimes it might be best to hold out until you can support yourself. I'm a 15 year old FTM, Adam has inspired me to come out as transgender and this video is great. He has become my role model and helped me come to terms with myself as transgender. I'm glad Degrassi has taken this step and brought trans teens into the media for all to see and finally understand. I used to get beat up by groups of people because I'm transgender, so I made myself girly to make it stop and realized it only made me feel worse...Thank you, Adam for helping me and other transkids.
I'm an 18 year old ftm too and watching Adam has been a real inspiration. I have never been myself with anyone except my closest friends and I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to go outside without "playing dress-up (as a girl)" as Adam so brilliantly puts it. I'm out to a good portion of my friends and to my parents, but my parents are not allowing me to start transitioning.

I am 20 years old ftm, I almost commited suicide countless times because of being targeted in middle school, I didnt even go to highschool because of all the death threats I got. At 18 yrs old I found a girl who understood me, she was the wind beneath my broken wings..she made me feel like there was hope. She moved away last week and I am so lonely, I have a few friends but I feel lost without her...this is a great video thanks for making it... i just wanted to vent sorry
@TChristopherC I am only 16 (almost 17) and I am also ftm. I'm sorry you had to go through that harassment. No one should ever have to deal with bullying. No matter our age, biological sex, race, sexual orientation, religion, gender identity, etc. You should never give up hope though. And feel free to talk to me. Who u are at heart is what really matters, not your body. And like Clare said, u don't need to change who you truthfully are, it's everyone else that needs to change their mindless attitudes. This was really sad :( and I'm so sorry that you are also an ftm facing these difficulties. :( :(

Great video! (: (: (: I understand you worked really hard on it even though your computer was being gay sometimes, lol, and your work really shows. (; I love the song you incorporated into this, and the scenes you chose to put together really help people understand that being a transgender is hard because ppl will bully u for being different, but it's not a bad thing. It's just something u happened to be born with, and u have to deal with it.
