  • why are people mentioning bitey on this vid? I know he's awesome, but is he hidden in the vid somehow or what?

  • was it worth it?

  • damn

  • you must of spent so much time on this! Great Job!

  • Awesome. More Bitey please!!!

  • Good animations...More Bitey please he's the best of them all

  • wow, so much work for 5 seconds, it's so tediuos

  • ur work is .... too impressive for its own good ^^, seriously though i just hope u dont stop animating ever, thatd just be a huge loss to this world, are other former disney animators this good too? ^^, and we want more bitey!! :p

  • I can't wait for scene 2

  • Ok?

  • damn VERY good job

  • real nice very detailed and great job 5/5

  • that's great !!! i work on toon bomm digital pro, but i have a PLE version, i with i have a full version.

    keep nice work up

  • good cooguly mooguly that thang is juicy

  • good cooguly mooguly!

  • Great work!

  • that awsome keep up ther good work.

  • i wouldnt have even noticed the spotlights if you hadnt mentioned it (and looped it five times)

  • It's funny but don't spam please ;)

  • Ooooh ... Ahhhh

  • Very nice, but I miss the perspective, it's a bit flat, 2Dish. lower the camera just above the ground with more and faster zoom (till the front door for example) and let the building go past the camera. bitey rocks :)

  • It is 2D.

ToonBoom has 3D sceneplanners, not a 3D animation engine.

  • I see I assumed it was made in Flash and swift3d since he made Brackenwood this way, but you can still DRAW 3d, especially buildings because they're just cubish, it's an effort I would make :)

  • As far as I know, A.P only used swift 3D once. Could you point out the other times?

  • Maybe once in Brackenwood but more often in Hitchhiker, but that wasn't really my point, the fact remains that you can combine 3d in flash and that I would've done that

  • I think it would help if the background (the clouds) didn't also move as he panned in. It makes the background look as if it's flat and right next to the building.

  • All this intense detail and time put into these 5 seconds of film. XD

I can't wait learn this stuff, Your a prodigy yourself Adam!

  • since im kinda new to flash making.. i was wondering how you learned to highlight and shadow objects.. was this from your schooling? i would be very happy to know :)

  • wow.. holy sheet and like 5 seconds of animation takes freaking forever to do. Now i'll never bug an animator again for eps.. lol

  • u should add sound and btw i <3 your making of this :)

  • i like your details in your works

  • Wow Adam! Is there anything you can't do?

You put so much work into such a small a Scene! Commendable!

  • Looks really good Adam!

    Awesome as always!

  • Such an excellent job, I've been following these since you first began posting them and let me tell you it's insane to watch the work that you put into your animations, especially for such a short scene! No wonder everything you do always comes out so good ;)

  • That is so awesome, I realy like the reflections on the ground!

I am looking forward to the DVDs!

  • One thing that would improve the spotlights:

Don't have them change direction so suddenly. if they slowed down just a tad at each end and had a tiny little pause... just one of those little "acceleration" effects that make things ever so slightly more realistic (effective)

  • thanks, but yeah that was the first to be tweaked, along with the animated spotlights (which also have easing) ;)

  • Oh, and I'm very glad you have more than one layer of rain. That's something that even the most professional of professionals forget to do some times.

Well, I guess you are professional, but still...

  • very well spotted, glad you noticed! I can't stand it when I see rain on film/TV that's just one front layer. Even in live action, it's so obvious when they've just put a rain machine over the foreground and there's no depth to it.

In the final of this scene, I've reduced the front layer of rain so it's even more subtle.. it makes the rain in the spotlight beams so much more effective.

    Thanks :)

  • Why that sounds just dandy.

If you even read these, what ever happened to your entry to the AniBoom Radiohead contest? I really liked your storyboard.

  • Funny you should mention that.. I've been working on the Radiohead clip all weekend. I didn't qualify for the first round so I'm going for the golden ticket now. Not sure I'll get it done on time though (16 days to go)

  • Well, you could easily turn your fanbase into a cult, then brainwash all the members to do all the inbetweens for you ;P

It would definitely get done on time in that situation.

  • LOVE The Lightning Strike effect, you are amazing!!!!!, truly amazing!!!!!!!!

btw, I suck at Toon Boom Digital Pro, you make it look so easy!!! 10,000,000/5!!****

  • Awesome. I really enjoyed watching this develop.

  • "You may notice the beams are a little disconnected from the spotlights"

Not really. Most people aren't crazy attentive to details like you are, but that's why we love you. =D

  • pretty amazing

    props for adam!

  • That is amazing! So much hard work for such a small duration of animation. Seems as if I would need to spend much more time on my animations to make them any good.

    You are pro!

  • Jeez... you're a friggen beast.

  • :O oo lala adam

  • You're truly amazing

  • your awesome!

  • man, so much work for just that small amount of film time.

But i guess it has to be done.

  • wow thats truely amazing. your so talented these should be on tv! :]

my friends got me into flash but i suck at it :/

  • You are extremely talanted. It looks so good. No other flash animation I've ever seen even comes close to the ones you do. Briliant.

  • that is.. totaly.. oh my god. well done! brilliance!

  • It's crazy that you put so much work into such a small piece of an animation.. You have so much patience. I can't wait to see what this is for!

  • thats amazing

  • Nice work. You've proved that one person could potentially animate an entire film at home on the computer.

  • thanks guys :)

  • you should seriously do some tutorials, you are an inspiration.

  • they should really promote your videos

  • You really are great at what you do. It's absurd how realistic that looks.

  • wow! all that work for 5 seconds! but it looks great.
