  • Wait... isn't that... A MISSILE ?

  • I Think it's borealis?

  • Dear everyone,

    It's spelled Borealis.

  • @BloodThornODST We know, we're just too mezmerised by the music to notice it's spelled wrong.

  • @Okamifanj *goes back to being mesmerized*

  • I wish I could see the aurora boralis. Luckies

  • goin to see the Aurora Borealis next week, cant wait! XD

  • @xmerlinhamuchanx Listen to TSFH while you watch them. That would be one life changing experience.

  • @Liltay5692 i wish i could.. lucky you. :P

  • I saw the Aurora Boralis from my flight Sunday night. Magnificent.

  • seeing enough good from Finnland....

  • I remember seeing the Aurora Borealis when I was little in Alaska <3 I miss it so much.

  • "It's the Borealis!"

  • Where'd you get the picture?

  • @Carrack090

    both^^

  • While I think it's spelled "Borealis" I can't help but turn up the volume a bit. Or maybe turn it down? Hard to tell from here.

  • this sound like something Zoe Deschanel probably listens to.

  • Thais shit sounds like something Zoe Deschanel probably listens to.

  • I currently live in Bergen, Norway, and I can say one thing: it's not the cold in the winter that's bad (around 0 and down, but the coldest I have experienced was around -15 and down), it's the freakin' rain all year around. This year, 2011, we had two, I repeat, TWO days of snow, and everything have rained away already. Only bits of ice here and there on the ground, or heaps of dirty snow.

  • is there a song called Aurora Australis?

  • Welcome to the north :)

  • I live in Fort St. John, and we see this often (about 10-20 times) during the winter, and occasionaly throughout the rest of the year.

  • @ThornHailsnap lucky.

  • @ThePrimeAres I live in central Canada... I see these on clear skies. I once lay'd down on the sidewalk watching them dance.

  • @ThePrimeAres

i find it funny how "theprimeares" got more likes by saying lucky to thorn, than thorn got lol

  • @ThornHailsnap The aura or the missle launch?

  • @Carrack090 No, just the aura. You get the missile launch. That's the difference between Canada and US.

  • @ThornHailsnap I live in Finland.. Lot's of those here.

  • @ThornHailsnap aww im so jealous!!

  • @ThornHailsnap Even the missle?

  • @chraus Huh?

  • @chraus I only just noticed what you mean by "the missile". No, we don't see that. I don't think it's even a missile; it looks more like a rocket blasting off.

  • @ThornHailsnap actually it looks like a war head.. rockets dont start to turn that close to the ground they wait until they have reached the outer atmosphere to begin to set their coarse

  • @rayne7echo Yeah, well, mabye they just suck at launching rockets!

  • @ThornHailsnap (going green with envy)

  • @ThornHailsnap Isnt that when the radiation comes through the atmosphere? Be careful man. It could be dangerous.

  • @DreamVikings Well, I've lived through 18 years of it, and my parents even more, so it can't be too bad........right?

  • no Boralis.....((((

    just BOREALIS

  • @twincamism

So they forgot the E, no need to be an ass about it.

  • as an icelandic person, I guess I don't realize how lucky I am to see them almost every clear winter night.

sometimes, I see them out my window, but don't bother getting up to get a proper look. My common lights, are something many have never seen.

They look lovely when they dance and reflect on a calm black ocean.

  • @CrazyandHyper I am so jealous...I live in southern California we don't even get snow...-_- instead we put up Christmas lights in shorts and a tank top...

  • @musicdancelover1 -_- you couldn't handle snow

  • @xXIAMLEGEND1Xx I openly admit to that! We Southern Californian's are THE BIGGEST wimps when it comes to the cold. We trip when it gets below 60 degrees. Lol

  • @musicdancelover1 lol yeah im a northern guy but i still hate the cold i trip when we get down to 5 then i get pissed

  • @xXIAMLEGEND1Xx I can't imagine what 5 degrees feels like. O_o That's crazy!

  • @musicdancelover1 10000 needles covering your skin

  • @musicdancelover1 if u cant imagine 5 degrees... the coldest temperature on Earth we could ever record was on Antarctica, there were researchers there in minus 89.5 degrees celsius. try imagining that. even the thickest clothes wouldn't be enough XD

  • @musicdancelover1 actually it doesn't.your dead by then =p

  • @musicdancelover1 Then you should see how people in Houston freak out in the "cold"! I'm a Russian-American and everyone freaks out when its like 50-30 degrees and I'm perfectly fine without a jacket, so you guys aren't the only ones lol, but damnit when its summer here I feel like I'm gonna die in freakin 105 degree 100% humidity weather!!

  • @ReneIsSoCool101Yes Hahahaha! Nice to know we're not the only wimps over here! Lol Yeah, I love the heat, but I can't stand when its humid like that.-_- It's killer...

  • @theprimeares same here. I don't want to pass on without seeing the sky dance in its own colors like that

  • Best chance to see them is during winter nights, towards the arctic circles, and about every decade there are more plasma clouds from the sun creating more actively Aurora Borealis.

From my place (The Netherlands) we see them 7 days a year.

  • I've always wanted to go see the aurora borealis myself.

I from others that it is very beautiful and I've seen stunning pictures and films of them. But I just know nothing will come close to actually see it with your own eyes.

  • @MrFalconfly

I've seen them twice in Michigan. One show was decent. The following year ('05), there was a massive solar flare. I am telling you, seeing a northen light show that is strong, is completely and absolutely mind-blowing. Not all of them are the green curtain ones. though most common. The show I was the enitre sky, for a few mintues, in one direction, dancing and winding colors. You just have to see them.

  • @Chitowngst It's in my bucket list, to see it at least once in my lifetime.

  • So mysthical *O* This is very beautiful !!!

    (Sorry for my english^^')
