@commandro No you don't. Its not a legal requirement here in the UK but you would be well advised to get properly trained and rated by a suitable paraglider school. Paragliding can be risky and high wind soaring, like in this vid, is another step up as it needs small wings which are very fast and twitchy. Cheers
