WHOAH!!!! People people! Yes Kirby was in a beer commercial. But there is a quote from him concerning the commercial that it was an answer to a prayer and enabled him to provide for his family. Plus, he's an actor. It was just a commercial. He's not suddenly all anti-mormon. It's not like he decided to go and drink a lot of beer. It was a job opportunity and he took it and I think he is still the upstanding priesthood holder he was before the commercial took place.

The reason LDS people think these movies are so funny, is because there are a lot of quirky things about the cultre of Momonism that you really have to be familiar with to understand. Emotion/Drama doesn't really figure into it.

What's really funny about it is that it is showing the lds culture pretty true to form. It is an overly dramatic culture to say the least. Everything in Mormonism is based on emotion.

If you aren't Mormon or haven't been one in the past, you probably wouldn't understand why lds even think this movie clip is funny.
