  • Salvester Stilon rocks G-shocks?

  • OG Gshock Lmao

  • I remember that Metallica t-shirt from HS. "Metal up your ass", what a classic!

  • @EversHenriksen Well understandable really.. I am old but at least I am not a mental defective like you.... Did you use up all your brain power for the day thinking up that complex a comment? Deter is calling your from the bed room, he needs his inner spoon.. at least their is something you do well...No one touches his monkey like you do :D

  • ready

  • @JosephW99 It was a classical guitar I was getting ready to change strings on..

  • What are you getting reading to oppen up at the end???

  • how much is it worth?

  • @OmegaDomination

Looks like a DW-5600C that is missing its bezel. It's kind of a collector's item today. Prices vary widely, in part due to there being different versions. I'm no expert in vintage Casio watches, but from what I read, a 5600C in mint condition can be worth as much as several hundred Dollars, esp. the rarer caseback and module versions. Purportedly, even a worn one can be worth around 200$. A used vintage bezel for this watch was sold on eBay a few days ago for 55 Dollars.

  • @criscros7 Interesting.. Well.. that same battery leaked and I dont think the watch will ever work again.. I would never sell it anyway because of its history in my life..but thank you very much for the information :D

  • watch my model too guys!!!!!!!

  • YOur awesome!!!!!

  • my gshock died because of the battery leakage, and it wont work after replace new battery, it havent last 20 years, may be it is MIC?

  • GSHOCKS ARE THRASH!

  • That's pretty badass! How much did you pay for your g-shock? When I was a kid, I always had timex ironman watches, but recently, I started checking out casios, and so I have nothing but great things to say about any of them. (my newest casio has a 10 year battery, so I wonder how many years I can squeeze out of that one)

  • you look like the white version of jackie chan!

  • @LastBreathMonkey Now if I just had his bank account :D

  • @nzkhmer. I have a solar g-shock. Got it seven years ago. On it's lil batt meter I think I have only seen it go from high to med once and that was during winter in alaska because I kept it covered with sleeves. Bit as soon as I noticed it I sat in under a lamp for a few hours and it was good. Just make sure it gets a few hrs min a day of light and it will last.

  • @irishmo87 Thats cool man, but mine is not solar.

  • anyone can send me a link with all g shock age series (80's and 90's)

  • silvester salone???????????

  • about the battry 20 years is a bloody long tme have you still got it?. have you heard of the light bulb affect. they have the technology to make light bulbs last for over 100 years but they purposely make them crap so we can keep buying them. i brought a g-shock thats solar powered it will be intresting to see how long it lasts

  • My watch is G-shock Mudman G9000-1V and its say the battery will work for 3 years... but It still works until today. 5 years !!!!! 2007-2011

  • My watch has been with me for at least 15 years on the same battery. I forgot when and how I even got it but I think it was from my grandmother after my cheap POS plastic watch broke. Who knew it was a collectable now?

  • i work in industrial supply and i've busted 3 Timex watches before I bought a $20 Casio at walmart, which has taken a shitload of a beating. just upgraded to my first g-shock today.....<3 <3 <3

  • @peusdeus I guess since let them put adds on this video I cant really bitch about your spam.. but I might..

  • I bet the three people who disliked this video are watch makers who "screwed up."

  • @nnoduma Nice!.. :D

  • @nnoduma

    They work for Timex

  • Love the shirt, love the watch

  • I had the original 1983 G-Shock. It was impervious to anything and everything it came across... that is until my fat aunt who weighs over 400 lbs. sat on it when I left it on the couch. I didn't say anything so as to not embarrass her but when she got up the watch was gone.

I loved that watch but now it's stuck somewhere up my aunt's butt.

  • @MegaDyneSystemsExe hahaha i feel bad cause my fat azz cousin weighs 220 pounds and sat on my new G shock watch that i purchased from Costco but luckily it didn't brake at all

  • I"ve got one and its deathproof.

  • Awesome watch

  • You look like Eddie Money, not Stallone

  • @k9feces I have been told both my whole life so .. I guess yeah.. depends on who is behind the eyes.

  • I remember the day I bought one of these, I told the street seller: "I hope it lasts", and he said "Ha! you'll get bored of it". Truest words ever spoken.

  • I received a G-shock watch 24 years ago as a birthday gift in 1986 . Great watch !! I have surfed with it ,gone snorkling with it many times . Used it as my alarm clock . As a stop watch when running . The thing that amazes me the most about that watch is that it still has the original battery in it i have never changed it for a new one. How is this possible ?

  • @MyZbra Mine sat in a box for over 10 years without being used.. Died a few months after I made this video.. I guess if you dont really use it that battery will last for 20+ years

  • @giveneverup If only my bank account looked like his :)

  • METALLICA RULES

  • i have a casio f91w that like 9 years old and the batery has outlasted the plastic cover and its still tells time preaty good

  • wow, 20 years for a watch.

I have a Casio W-800H watch. it says it has a 10 year battery. hope it lasts long!

  • Its been 2 years since you posted this. Is it still running?

  • @BigMacFury Sigh.. I wish.. It stopped working after about 2 months.. But, it had been in a box for over 10 years.. So, when I actually started using it again, it died quick.. Took the battery out. Leaking weird shit... dont even know if it will work with a new battery... I be it does.. I did everything short of take a hammer to the thing and it still worked....

  • ur words inspired me man... i hope that mine wil run little longer than 20 yrs :p

  • 1990

  • @compman67

  • Nice! Man!

  • have they even been out that long?

  • @dat3rdsideboy386 yep gshocks been out for years. even longer than 20 it think like 40 or 50yrs

  • @dat3rdsideboy386

yes they have been out that long...

They engrave "Since 1983" on the back of some of the new ones...

  • T-shirt WIN

  • mine last 2 weeks because i left it in sports bib and some fuckers pick it up

  • anyways nice,

hopefully my g shock i just bought will

    last 10?.. hopefully...

  • hey just ignore him, theres people like that

all over youtube, if you give them any kind of attention, that will only feed them. all you got to do is ignore them no matter how arrogant and stupid they are.

  • blonde Rocky..

  • @brawlandgrowl Exactly what I was thinking! lol

  • Hence the misunderstanding.

  • 20 years with same battery ...

  • Metallica RULEZ !!!!!!!!!

    G-Shock Rul

  • I don't think the battery is a fluke. I've had Casio's that lasted over 10 years. Casio promised 10 years on the original GShock when they were first introduced. So it should last at least that long. The only thing that would shorten the life is alarm use and light use. That's why they changed their estimate to 5 years. Then, they lowered it again when the Illumator style of light was developed.

  • lol

  • LMFAO dude you got owned by a guy thats old enough to be your dad!!!!!!!!!

    HAAAAAAAAHAHAHA

  • right hes funny

  • i got a gshock solar, never need bew battery

  • Yes it will, you will need to replace the accumulator battery's (2 of them) after 5 or 6 years. Iv just had to do mine.

  • ACTUALLY

Rechargeable batteries like the one you got in your solar powered watch will use up it's ability to recharge over time. In some of the original solar models I hear those shocks have batteries that no longer store charge anymore!

  • fantastic watches

  • G SHOCK RULES!

  • State of that!

  • You must calculate it (battery life)with use of light which is most power eater in any portable electronics...

  • I have and old casio calculator that I still use since 1992 with the same battery, and is not solar powered, someone screw up the calculators.....and people still think is a bad brand..

  • how do they test batteries anywaysszz..?

:S ..., because how do they come up with 5 years..?

  • i own a 11 year old g shock =)

  • awesome

  • Metallica and G.Shock ...what a combination !

  • i have a 20 year old g shock looks eggsactly the same the case has come of also. but its in yellow

  • Stoner :P

  • You can buy replacement parts for this watch if you want to restore it to original condition. It will last even longer if you do.

  • It doesn0t seem a G-Shock but a "normal casio"... But, AMAZING!

  • It is a G-Shock... Its just so old the black plastic has broken off.. Took over 20 years to happen . .but it did.. The battery outlasted the plastic shock gaurd
