@TheSpinningthebullet sometimes the blue screen will list a file name at the top or a cause, and also you could google the stop error code at the bottom for more info.
@BetaFlux hey man dont wanna be a downer man but if i was you i'd be gettin rid of the magnetic screwdriver that your using. NOT good for a hdd! with a magnet that is powerfull enough can wipe your hdd right out and your hdd will be junk. i know that screwdriver may not have that much magnetic force but its still not something you wanna put near your pc! NO MAGNETS NEAR HDD! that computer case you got there that green xion was my very first build i ever built!
what if the working computer that I try to connect the nonworking hard drive to doesn't have the same kind of port? The CD Rom powersource is much different than the old hard drive. Is there an adapter or something I can use?
@adburton76 Sounds like you have an ATA serial hard drive, there is an adapter you can buy, or get ahold of an external hard drive enclosure, you might be able to plug your non working hard drive into that, I have an external hard drive that I use as an adapter. they come apart real easy to be able to swap drives
My screen get frozen with some blue green and red thin rectangle and then i turn it off but it's a 2 year old laptop idk what's wrong i even restarted it from factory settings and this crap is still happenning

something that sounds like metal hitting the bottom, look down and 2 tiny screws fall out of the back. So I take them out and then dust everything off since it is all-ready out, clean all the components, and re assemble everything back into the case, plug all of the cords back in, take the BIOS battery out of the mobo for about 30 seconds, then put it back in, double check everything, then hit the power button, and it works!!!! I thought "man you have got to be kidding me, a small ass screw
The last time I had this problem I kept getting a "USB Undervolt" message at start up I unplugged everything, then plugged it back in, both cords on the back and on the inside of the case, tried reformatting the haddrive, and just about everything I could think of, it still kept doing it, it drove me up the fucking wall for 2 days straight, finally I wound up taking the whole damn thing completely apart and everything out of the case, well low and behold as soon as I unscrew the mobo I hear
ok i have to make a point here.. before you even begin to open your case you should try booting in safe mode.. tap F8 right after your post screen untill it gives you the option to boot in save mode..
you can scan your hardisk within safemode and also backup documents to other media..
if you cant get into safemode then. attempt a windows repair with your disk. it will not delete your important files.. only then if that doesent work. attempt opening your case and swapping drives.

@00cmjproductions00 The easiest and fastest way to fix the blue screen is to reinstall windows if you have a cd. use the repair option and you will not lose your data, but you should also read the stop error code and google it to find out your exact problem.
every once in a while my computer screen goes black, and it freezes and you can see only a arrow which is the curser ... you cant do anything but restart it and than it works for a while and than does the same thing. i tried erasing everything off the computer with my recovery disk but this still happens . do u know what the problem is? i have a windows xp computer.

@TheTrophygirl Sounds like it might be a heat problem, take your side cover off and see if the cooling fans are clean, You can clean them with a soft paint brush.
Can you answer this question for me please? What makes the Unmountable Boot volume happen? Is it due to like inserting devices? I have an AC adapter for my computer, but it's not working.. There is this green light that's supposed to light up each time I plug it in, but it doesn't even turn on. The AC adapter doesn't give power to my laptop, it seems that the power doesn't pass through. Is it because I have a cut on the cord or something? My Laptop has a recharging and Umount boot prob. Plz help
@LucarioluAura When windows shuts down hard or incorrectly say from a power outage or power loss, the data can get locked in the memory and lost from the hard drive,
the hard drive operating system can not find the boot record.
Reinstall windows using the REPAIR option and you will not lose data. You could also try my video on (chkdsk Recovery Console) It could repair your boot volume issue. You can find a new power adapter (charger) for your laptop on E-bay for about $35.00.
well my blue screen is like chineese and it wait for 1 sec then it restarts so i can't do anything,i can run safe mode but this problem came out from 3 programs i installed right now and they come from the company UNIBLUE.This has destroyed my pc and i don't know what to do.pls heelp i also can't hear anything
If the problem is with my OS I just run Ubuntu from a disk and back my stuff and restore or just delete the file that wont let my OS boot its much easier than moving drives I would know use to do it all the time just use a backup OS a lot safer
I have an old corrupt hard drive that just wont start either in safe mode or regular start up. Iv tryed everything you said in the video, even trying to read the hard drive in another PC, but it still got the BSOD. Iv tryed the Repair Console on the WinXP CD but i dont think that would even open up. And i dont know if this means ANYTHING at all but when the BSOD happens it only shows for like half of a second then the PC just restarts itself so i cant see what file was messing it up.
i dont think my parents wuld let me do tht... i have a question.
someone told me that you could fix it by booting from somethin like "Puppy Dog Linux" and you could update or backup your drivers in there. i'm not sure what to do. if you think it's possible, could you maybe reply with some tips? or make a video tut on it? thank you very much :]
@EvixProductions from my knowledge of linux, you're referring to livecd.
all I know of is that you can use linux distro(like ubuntu livecd) to run a live(from optical drive, not hdd) session. From there you can access the information on your hard drive disk. This is only used as an alternative means to creating a boot disk(basically, to backup your data from a corrupt harddrive.).
1 word GOOGLE. easy to fixs all your bsod. NOT cleaners lol. Cleaners is not a bsod fixs. Use a sec pc to read on google what the error means in bsod. Easy.
I think my computer is not able to accept the new Driver Updtaes ... when i get new updates my computer starts giving me problems ( blue Screens ). i did the system recovery like 8 times already and i dont know what to do !!
@Robloxian182 Most likely and the fastest way to fix this is to run a REPAIR install of your windows, if you don't have a cd you can legally borrow one.
hi. i have a toshiba laptop and at first it didnt start properly even in safemode and eventually it stopped giving me options to start safemode or start normally it just goes straight to a black screen and all these realteck media check texts come up on the screen..... i have no idea wat to do i hae tried reinstalling windows didnt work and i have used the recovery disc from toshiba.... again didnt work ..
Sounds like your sound device is gone bad on you, realtek could also be the network device, you would have to go into the bios and turn the audio and network device off, then it should start, once you get it to start you would want to reinstall the drivers for those devices. then turn them back on. bios would be either DEL, F1 or F2 usually.
when I put a new 2GB RAM 2x1 gb DDR2 800MHZ Patriot the blue screen was coming and my old GB RAM is now corrupt or something please can you help me PM ME.I think I need a new harddrive??
@BetaFlux beta but i got no place where to plug the red cable .. you know the small one ... there is no place for me to plug that .... cuz hte working computer there is no place for me to plug the broken hard drive which has a red cable .. now what do i do ?
@BetaFlux look beta .. if i put the woking hard drive into the broken computer whihc it has the broken hard drive with a hard drive enclosure ... will it work ? if i put that as the master and the broken one the slave .. will it work ? because i realy need it and then get the data ... i am not sure if it will work becaues the hard drive enclosure has a usb port .. will the computer know that it is a hard drive once it is turned on ?
The good hard drive going into the broken pc will most likely not work. plug the enclosure into the working pc using the usb and it will pick it up as a second hard drive, then you can save your data.
@BetaFlux but loook , my broken pc has only one problem .. its hard drive .. when i ran the diagnostic system .. it showed one error for hte hard drive .. and the error code is BIOHD-8 .. but will i be able to save my data by putting the working hard drive to the pc with the broken hard drive ? just replace them .. you know .. remove the old one and put the other one istead .. and will i be able to do it with the enclosure ? and save the data first
You can put a good hard drive into your working pc, but you will have to install a fresh copy of windows, then you can plug your old hard drive into the usb enclosure and get your old data.
It would take me a long time to explain everything step by step, just put the working hard drive into your pc and install windows, search youtube for install windows. do you have a copy of windows cd?
@BetaFlux well to my working hard drive i have windows xp and to the broken one i had vista .. now i just want to replace them .. would i be able to replace them with a enclosure ?
nice tutorial....but my computer problem is that sometimes it can'be turn on but than sometimes it can but it will freeze....and sometimes i can use it 42-4 hours and then it freeze..pls help..my pc is compaq presario SR52575AP..OS:Window 7
@BetaFlux thnx 4 ur reply..i've tried scanning using norton 2010 but still it shows that there r no virus of any infected file...which antivirus would u recommend me...thnx!
@BetaFlux i've tried everything....registryfix,disk cleanup,disk defrag,reinstall windows,scan 4 viruses using avast and other progams,but still the problem occur PLS HELP......thnx...
@f7sok reap the stop error code near the bottom of the blue screen and see if it also list a cause and or a file name at the top, google that and it will help track down the problem.
@BetaFlux Hello BetaFlux ......i have a problem .. look my computer doesn't start ... it just shows a blue screen ... i ran the diagnostics system tool and everything was good ..... it said that the hard drive failed during the test and the error code is BIOHD-8.... AND IT ALSO SAYS TO ME TO back up the data .. but there is no way to do it .. the computer doesnt even start ... will this tutorial of yours help me ? I f i do the same thing you did willl i save my data ?
I have my DH hooked up like you said and went through all your steps but when I right click on Local Drive E my cimputer locks up and nothing happens. HELP I do not want to reformat this drive
@BetaFlux I see my D Drive on the HD. I have not tryed a full restore back to factory settings using D because I didn't want to lose everything on C. Do you think that is an option since it asks me if I want to proceed ???. I just hate losing everything on C but I need my computer up ???
@BetaFlux Could I mirror my drive to a new one to save the data .... without starting the old drive in windows ??? then starting the new drive up and have all my stuff ??? would that work ??
@BetaFlux I hear you and I do hope that, that isn't the case. I am going to reinstall it back in my computer and make up a DOS 3.5 Diskette and get into DOS and do a chkdsk / p or r. I know it might be a big waste of my time but I just can't let all that data on the HD just go without trying everything to save it. Thanks for your help and VIds they were a big help to me.
im afraid of ESD damagin my computer by puttin my hands in there. i had this hard drive from a different computer that i put in mine that worked for a while and then one day it didnt show up in my computer. tried to restart and the drive slowed down windows from loadin and the drive still wouldnt show up in my computer. dont know what happened.
Usually a bad or dying hard drive will cause your pc to run really slow and with it not showing up in the computer it is probably dead, best to unplug it.
ESD, just make sure the pc is unplugged and you can clear all static from your body by just touching the case (or tower)
on my pc it said update summing click here so i did then once it finished it said 2 restart the pc nd when i did it poped up wiv the blue screen. i am gunner buy xp pro or win 7 will it let me install that insted of trying to fix the blue screen thing ?? i know nothing about pc s so plzzzzzzzzzzzzz HELP thanks
boot to the windows cd to install windows, it should find your previous windows and offer you to REPAIR it. that will work and you will not lose any of your user settings or documents.
hi, please help me, my PC has a BSOD i don't know why. this is its history when i removed the kaspersky anti virus deleted all of the files then i tried to download at IE an Avira anti virus when i click it my PC turns off. when i opened it again a BSOD appears. i thought that will removed when i reboot again my pc but its still there. after 3 days i tried it again and it works like nothings happens then after 5hrs it appears again i don't have extra hard disk what can i do? please help!
Keeping an external hd to backup data can really protect it. Another thing that works is an external closure.. Which basically converts an internal hd to an external for USB!
I want this video on my g-re (o) unit.

What if I don't gave a working comp what can I do? Do I have to just buy a new harddrive?
00cmjproductions00 1 year ago
@00cmjproductions00 The easiest and fastest way to fix the blue screen is to reinstall windows if you have a cd. use the repair option and you will not lose your data, but you should also read the stop error code and google it to find out your exact problem.

NeeKroVal 1 year ago
@NeeKroVal What are the stop error codes? read the first set of numbers and see if it list a cause or file name at the top of the blue screen.
If chkdsk made it worse than the file system was already not repairable.

Plz help
LucarioluAura 1 year ago
@LucarioluAura When windows shuts down hard or incorrectly say from a power outage or power loss, the data can get locked in the memory and lost from the hard drive,
the hard drive operating system can not find the boot record.
Reinstall windows using the REPAIR option and you will not lose data. You could also try my video on (chkdsk Recovery Console) It could repair your boot volume issue. You can find a new power adapter (charger) for your laptop on E-bay for about $35.00.

raperoni123 1 year ago
@raperoni123 If running the uniblue software messed things up than try running a system restore
BetaFlux 1 year ago
If the problem is with my OS I just run Ubuntu from a disk and back my stuff and restore or just delete the file that wont let my OS boot its much easier than moving drives I would know use to do it all the time just use a backup OS a lot safer

I have an old corrupt hard drive that just wont start either in safe mode or regular start up. Iv tryed everything you said in the video, even trying to read the hard drive in another PC, but it still got the BSOD. Iv tryed the Repair Console on the WinXP CD but i dont think that would even open up. And i dont know if this means ANYTHING at all but when the BSOD happens it only shows for like half of a second then the PC just restarts itself so i cant see what file was messing it up.

someone told me that you could fix it by booting from somethin like "Puppy Dog Linux" and you could update or backup your drivers in there. i'm not sure what to do. if you think it's possible, could you maybe reply with some tips? or make a video tut on it? thank you very much :]
EvixProductions 1 year ago
@EvixProductions from my knowledge of linux, you're referring to livecd.
all I know of is that you can use linux distro(like ubuntu livecd) to run a live(from optical drive, not hdd) session. From there you can access the information on your hard drive disk. This is only used as an alternative means to creating a boot disk(basically, to backup your data from a corrupt harddrive.).
I may be wrong, I'm still fairly new to linux.

06msmallshaw 1 year ago
Sounds like your sound device is gone bad on you, realtek could also be the network device, you would have to go into the bios and turn the audio and network device off, then it should start, once you get it to start you would want to reinstall the drivers for those devices. then turn them back on. bios would be either DEL, F1 or F2 usually.

@BetaFlux beta but i got no place where to plug the red cable .. you know the small one ... there is no place for me to plug that .... cuz hte working computer there is no place for me to plug the broken hard drive which has a red cable .. now what do i do ?

You would need an adapter to go from sata to ide or usb.

@BetaFlux but can i use a hard drive enclosure for that ? wil it work ?
AlbanianGuyPTP1 1 year ago
Yes the hard drive enclosure has the same type of adapter built in.

AlbanianGuyPTP1 1 year ago
The good hard drive going into the broken pc will most likely not work. plug the enclosure into the working pc using the usb and it will pick it up as a second hard drive, then you can save your data.
BetaFlux 1 year ago
@BetaFlux but loook , my broken pc has only one problem .. its hard drive .. when i ran the diagnostic system .. it showed one error for hte hard drive .. and the error code is BIOHD-8 .. but will i be able to save my data by putting the working hard drive to the pc with the broken hard drive ? just replace them .. you know .. remove the old one and put the other one istead .. and will i be able to do it with the enclosure ? and save the data first
AlbanianGuyPTP1 1 year ago
You can put a good hard drive into your working pc, but you will have to install a fresh copy of windows, then you can plug your old hard drive into the usb enclosure and get your old data.
BetaFlux 1 year ago
@BetaFlux beta i didnt realy get this .. can you be more specific ? can you tell me everything step by step .. so i dont damage anything

That is usually caused by a bad driver for some device most likely your video driver.

im afraid of ESD damagin my computer by puttin my hands in there. i had this hard drive from a different computer that i put in mine that worked for a while and then one day it didnt show up in my computer. tried to restart and the drive slowed down windows from loadin and the drive still wouldnt show up in my computer. dont know what happened.
shindogg 1 year ago
Usually a bad or dying hard drive will cause your pc to run really slow and with it not showing up in the computer it is probably dead, best to unplug it.
ESD, just make sure the pc is unplugged and you can clear all static from your body by just touching the case (or tower)

codex214 2 years ago
Try to run a system restore back to before you uninstalled kaspersky.
if that does not help then try to reinstall kaspersky, you might have deleted some system protection files that need to be replaced.
BetaFlux 2 years ago
Keeping an external hd to backup data can really protect it. Another thing that works is an external closure.. Which basically converts an internal hd to an external for USB!
