I don't know either. All I know is to push them into the blue line, wait for them to be sucked in and the health bar goes down.

I read about it in the booshelf in the lab. Basically, this being is Dark Gaia's energy fused with that weird shrine (the moon shrine) and by placing those boxes there, it damages the shrine, thus damaging him.

the purpose of pushing the boxes is to destroy the moon altar so the dark guardian won´t gather power from there

WOAH, he's definitely smaller in 360! in wii he's HUGE. And the fight is more fun, nothing to do with the "box things"
