dear CodJumper, i luv playing on ur server's have been playing codjumpe for total 10 days and cant strafe longer than 371 oldschool and 301 non oldschool how can i strafe longer? btw do u rely to most comments?

@olleibacka We try to reply to all comments but sometimes they slip through the wire. Watch our advanced strafe jumping tutorial for help on getting past 301. Other than that, it's just practice practice practice to get a technique which works for you. Most good jumpers got to that level by jumping for a long period of time, rather than just being told to do one specific thing.

@MvEProductionsHD always use 125, or 250 if you can get your fps to be constantly 250 (i use 250). Its simply better always.

Thats not true, you can strafe way better with 125 fps, but you bounce better with 250 fps.

@thedutchkid100 when you have it downloaded go in game and select in the mods then launch the game with it. Afterwards go to console (default ~ is that above TAB below excape) and type g_gametype cj then press enter. then /devmap mp_crash for example and you should be in crash with the mod hope i helped :D

ill give you a little hint there are more no fall damage things that where found by me (not sure never seen anyone have a vid about it from someone else :P).....when there are 4 barrels on something and when they are together you will not take damage cause its floating over its standing it was a bug created in game.....there are the most of those thing in pipeline

2 questions:

1.) don't you die at some rpg jumps in normal mode?

2.) what's the knifing after some jump parts for?

1.) You don't on any of the ones shown in our videos. Some that look like you should die are either bounce jumps, or there are no fall damage areas in the map.

2. ) Pressing melee twice saves position on our mod. This isn't required to do the jumps, but we use the mod for filming due to convenience / habit of doing it a lot on jump servers.

but my 1st question was about the damage you get from the rocket launcher. when i try some of these jumps on public, the rocket kills me because the ground area is too close.

A lot of the time it's simply a case of firing it slightly away from you so that you don't get 100% damage from the explosion.

You're probably firing your RPG too early then - the reason he doesn't die in the video at 1:05 is because he's moderately high in the air once the RPG actually fires (he timed it so).

Our mod enables us to have unlimited RPGs. IT is, however, worth noting that none of these jump series require more than 2 RPGs (i.e. we may show different bounces you can do after the helicopter bounce).

Press to fire the rocket, and between the time when you press and the time when the rocket is fired, begin to run and jump. You basically want to perform a strafe jump while firing the rocket, although you'll want to aim it down more to get more of a boost. It's all about getting used to the timing, really.

Some of them will be possible on the 360, some won't. We're a PC-based community, so all our videos are done on the PC versions of the Call of Duty series.

Some of the jumps are particularly hard, so it's likely that the different parts of the overall jump were done at different times or on different servers. All the jumps on this video are, however, possible to do in one attempt.
