Katana is great for having the portable apps and such, but I'm pretty sure that they require admin rights to run anyways (Metasploit, Wireshark, Cain & Abel, etc.), which makes them practically the same as carrying around the installer anyways.

Plus, Katana 2.0 was released over half a year ago (even if you consider that this video was from May), so at least 1/3 of the stuff on it is outdated...

1) Open the boot directory in the root of the Katana drive.

2) Copy the files 'vesamenu.c32' and 'chain.c32' from this directory into the syslinux/kon-boot directory.

The credit card readers on Point of Sale systems are unencrypted too, they just pretty much act as an input device and types out the credit card as text(or at least the ones I deal with, maybe ones newer than the ones from 06 that I work on encrypt data)

You can use KeyScrambler Premium to prevent SmartLocker from stealing your credentials. It basically renders useless any software based keylogger or trojan.

I do not work for qfx software but I do use KeyScrambler.
