  • don't worry about what you like... do it for the money. That's really all that matters whether it matters to you or not...

  • interesting video and very informative

  • love the video man

  • Could an UG in this be a possible prerequisite for medical or dental school?

  • @k3v015Mk Yea from what I understand a bachelors in biomedical engineering satisfies all the pre medicine courses. I know it does for the University of Washington. Makes sense it has all the chemistry, biology, physics and calculus.

  • love the video really good

  • looks interesting to me, look at all those gadgets, its not an art gallery sheesh. they need to concentrate not get distracted :p

  • handle complex calculation?? wow, thats tough!!

  • @semikiwi hehe

  • man this looks like it sucks; I'm changing my major.

  • Why can't laboratories look more interesting...everything is so white and metallic and sterile :(

HANG UP SOME PICASSO OR SOMETHING

  • @TheReturnofDogen have you been in a laboratory. It is sterile and white because it is to prevent contamination when doing any experiment

  • @TheReturnofDogen picasso isn't sterile!

  • it is realy wonderful study am anew graduated student from BME collage

    it is the new future

  • @DartmountAlum96 What multicultural myth are you talking about ?

  • I love how they push the multicultural myth in this video.

  • @wwjd19jeff91ynwa

same abilities? no, genetically, no. even a couple thousand years of segregated breeding is enough to dramatically affect cognitive ability in any animal. Humans went 40,000+ years.

why would anyone with an interest in biomed engineering buy the whole "equality" thing? that's something you see on the discovery channel not in a serious scientific environment

  • I LOVE MY MAJOR!

  • This is one of the worst description of biomedical engineering i've ever seen.

  • If you're in a job that you love doing, you won't have to work a day in your life.

  • @Chromeo33 excellent quote!

  • @Chromeo33 very good quote!!!!

  • @Chromeo33 I agree

  • Love it!I'm studying to become one (:

  • i wanna study it next semester in JMU (James Madison university). but i don't know is this degree are in that university??

  • @s3dooooooooooooooon I don't know , I'm italian .. i'm studying in an italian university

  • I have searched a lot in the internet about this profession and it seems so wonderful that I cannot describe. The are endless posibilities.

  • Does biomedical engineering require medical school? Also, do they deal with blood? I don't care about testing blood samples and all, but seeing people covered in blood and all the gory stuff, I can't handle it.

  • very interesting

  • That's not a day, that's 1 min and 15 sec

  • LOL

  • lol

  • do they make good money?

  • All engineering paths made good money.

  • One caution here -- income is important, but money is just a tool to help get you what you need and want. Whatever career you pick, this is where you'll be spending a LOT of your life. If you pick a career doing something you don't like just for the money, you'll be spending your life doing something you don't like. Which will suck. I'm not sure having more money will make up for that. I strongly suggest picking a career doing something that you enjoy!

  • you are right, most engineering carrers make about 55-60k a year stright out of school where i live

  • @needexercise are you saying not to choose biomedical engineering for the money but for passion? Im considering doing biomedical engineering, im making my decision in a ocuple days, do you have any more advice you can give?

  • they make money depending on what king of BME they are the lowest kind make bout 69k a year the mid kind makes bout 76k and the highest make about 90+k

  • I'm majoring in this. WOO.

  • I'm really interested in this profession. It very interesting and rewarding. I want to study it but I need ti improve my maths.

  • so do i . they need to change to metric.
