@k3v015Mk Yea from what I understand a bachelors in biomedical engineering satisfies all the pre medicine courses. I know it does for the University of Washington. Makes sense it has all the chemistry, biology, physics and calculus.
same abilities? no, genetically, no. even a couple thousand years of segregated breeding is enough to dramatically affect cognitive ability in any animal. Humans went 40,000+ years.
why would anyone with an interest in biomed engineering buy the whole "equality" thing? that's something you see on the discovery channel not in a serious scientific environment
Does biomedical engineering require medical school? Also, do they deal with blood? I don't care about testing blood samples and all, but seeing people covered in blood and all the gory stuff, I can't handle it.
One caution here -- income is important, but money is just a tool to help get you what you need and want. Whatever career you pick, this is where you'll be spending a LOT of your life. If you pick a career doing something you don't like just for the money, you'll be spending your life doing something you don't like. Which will suck. I'm not sure having more money will make up for that. I strongly suggest picking a career doing something that you enjoy!
@needexercise are you saying not to choose biomedical engineering for the money but for passion? Im considering doing biomedical engineering, im making my decision in a ocuple days, do you have any more advice you can give?
they make money depending on what king of BME they are the lowest kind make bout 69k a year the mid kind makes bout 76k and the highest make about 90+k
don't worry about what you like... do it for the money. That's really all that matters whether it matters to you or not...

@TheReturnofDogen have you been in a laboratory. It is sterile and white because it is to prevent contamination when doing any experiment
